We were told by Max Employment Browns Plains that a potential employee was entitled to a $10k Grant, I queried this with them to confirm and was given confirmation in writing, based on this we employed their client, when we went to apply for the grant we were then told that they had made a mistake" and that they were not entitled to the $10k grant. A much lower and unacceptable offer was given instead."

My partner and I just moved to Brisbane from Browns Plains and we were referred to MAX employment. My partner has debilitating anxiety and a Major depressive disorder, she also has a serious medical condition to boot and has been trying her absolute hardest to find employment since leaving her last job and tears herself apart not being able to find employment sooner. She attended her first appointment this morning and had the displeasure of dealing with a woman named Narelle. This woman was the most condescending, apathetic person my partner has ever had the misfortune of meeting,She Didn’t listen to a thing my partner said, put her down, and genuinely made my partner feel horrible about herself and ashamed to be there asking for help to the point where she literally walked home in tears!!! Aren’t you people supposed to help those in need and not tear them down even more??? This woman is definitely in the wrong line of work. Absolutely pathetic performance from MAX employment AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.On a side note, my partner was forewarned by 3 other jobseekers attending their appointments to change providers. One woman said she had waited two hours before being told the person she was supposed to meet with was in hospital and to go home. While my partner was waiting a man arrived for his 09:30am job interview which he had messages confirming only to be told to come back at 1pm no apologies whatsoever. Another lady said that she had been stuffed around with appointments so badly she missed a fortnight’s Pay due to their mistake (centerlink apparently paid this out and apologised after the issues were finally resolved) and would be going to centerlink immediately after her appointment to change providers.PLEASE, IF YOUR GENUINELY TRYING TO GET WORK AND MOVE FORWARD WITH YOUR LIFE DO NOT ATTEND THIS EMPLOYMENT PROVIDER THEY WILL ONLY SEND YOU BACKWARDS AND MAKE YOU FEEL ASHAMED FOR BEING IN THE SITUATION YOU ARE IN.I’ve contacted MAX employment and asked for the manager and have been told he will call me back to discuss the issues we had however I doubt they will even call me back, will update if they ever do.

When I first started here I thought it was great now its their way or the high way it feels like... No communication what so ever when you open up to management about how u feel it feels like in one ear and out the other and then said I will not apologize so at the end of the day your voice is not heard I rate this half a star i will not recommend anyone going here at all They are not all bad but only a few left that are good if nothing changes I'm leaving I'm very disappointed and hurt

You will recieve minimal help until it's time for work for the dole. Then there interest in you will skyrocket.Until then they will misplace paperwork, code the wrong thing into your file and otherwise do anything they can to make sure you stay right where they want you.They originally worked really hard to get me into a mental healthcare plan and start the process of getting me in touch with the relavent proffesionals. Then my case worker changes and suddenly non of that matters any more and they just bench me for six months.Well, now that it's time for work for the dole and by extension some free government money they suddenly have all sorts of plans for me.They are scum and only care about tax dollars. You don't matter to max emplyment.

Whenever I asked for help looking for work on computer they ignored me, the computers won't even turn on or switch to job search pages, they left me for 2 hours and seen other people who booked in to appointment after me. Unreliable job agency I recommended anything else!

Very rude and abrupt staff. On phone system get told one thing and it had been approved then go to actual office and told something different and not allowed. Due to them almost lost job (I got myself mind you with NO help from them) for various reasons. They want something from you its gotta be given yesterday yet try get anything from them it takes forever if at all.

It's a great helpful place when they actually try and help you. Payments from crntrelink got suspended because they didn't pass on a message that I was at a job trial.
