I’m thinking this beach is a well kept local secret, because despite having a name and a sign - Hanssons Beach - it doesn’t appear on Google or any lists of Bruny Island beaches. It is, however, gorgeous and a wonderful place to swim. It’s relatively calm without being too flat, there’s plenty of shade and soft sand and even two beautiful, unique picnic tables that look to be made out of local wood by an artisans hand. Highly recommend.
