Telstra Albany

The most incompetent service I've have in my life. The Bear at the door was one of the most unhelpful people I've ever come across. How he has a job is beyond me. 1 Star is probably being nice. Got back to Perth , went to Midland Telstra shop and got problem sorted in 10 minutes

I am not sure if Telstra has bought back this shop yet but service continues to dwindle in my opinion. The service model is the issue with the triage style system with one person supposedly directing you to someone who can help. Only problem is even when there are 5 people working and only 2 customers in store they ask you to come back in a couple of hours! Or if you ask to book they say it will be 7-10 days! Any other suggestions I asked ? They suggested I go to wholesaler down the road. We have 9 business mobile accounts been with them for years … go figure ! I just avoid doing anything in that store.

Went in to be told I need an appointment and the next available is in 13 days time. There was one customer in the shop at the time. As a business customer who needed to sort a work phone this is not acceptable. Would give zero stars ✨ f possible.

Picture this:You walk up to the store to find the door is locked 11am on a Monday. Peeking inside you notice that it's empty except for 2 x sales guys.Begrudgingly they open the door and you let them know you'd like to make a purchase.Instead of saying sure come in"

Tried to go to Telstra to see why the Telstra app wasn’t working.No service unless I had an appointment.Normally this Telstra office is great but I dislike the must book an appointment for simple inquiries

I came to buy an IPhone 14 pro max 1 month ago. The seller was very nice and helpful. But I bought a screen and lenses protection and they put it on the phone, but not good at all. The front glass protection is not straight, so does not protect well. The protection of the screen was not good at all also, it damaged the process of the photos and videos (it remained blurry) as the protection was badly put on.. I had to put it off.100$ of lost for the protection of my phone.

Abysmal. Drove almost two hours to buy an internet wifi dongle. Store is open, but not open. Due to lack of staff you have to “book a slot online” and not allowed into the shop. No customers in shop and the guy looked like he had his dream job, ie being paid to do nothing. He gave me incorrect information, stating I could buy a dongle at Woolworths (I couldn’t) and get it activated at a third party store. I’m from Perth, I’m not sure what this backward, Stone Age mentality of not being allowed to go into a shop and buy something, is coming from. In fact such was the poor experience, I’m never coming back to Albany ever again. I was thinking of switching to Telstra, but have decided against. You’re based in a regional town, people may be coming from extended distances, expending a lot of time and effort, you need to make it crystal clear the shop is in fact for all intents and purposes closed. I will also be complaining to head office as well. Complete joke.

Needed to go into the Telstra Store so they could see my ID as I couldn’t get an appointment for weeks and tried purchasing plan online. But Telstra need to see my ID in person apparently, although I’ve been with Telstra for 20years and have had the same address for 7 years. The man wouldn’t even let me in the store!! Appointment only apparently. Even after trying to show him the email stating that they needed to see all my documents in store. So now I’m stuck with a broken phone. Rubbish service from such a large Telco company in what is supposed to be a city. What an absolute joke.
