I have used the duplex 420 for aroudn 5 years and I really like this product because this is the only product that provide real 120C steam clean. I know lots of pepole including some cleaning professional use hot water extraction which is 70C. The benifit of using steam machine is steam will kill the bacteria in 20 sec and the carpet will dry really fast. so if you need a steam carpet cleaner you need a duplex cleaning machine.

If there was 0 stars that’s what they deserveA bunch of incompetent individuals who couldn’t care less what happens once they have made a sale.Bought a few machines from these guys which cost a pretty penny.Machines require servicing and have been trying to get them serviced for over 3 weeks with no luck.They have 1 repair person in the entire NSW who lives at the foot of blue mountains which is a 2 hour drive. To make matters worse this guy does not respond to calls, messages or emails. When I informed duplex head office in Melbourne I spoke with a old woman who was very aggressive, no customer service and simply couldn’t care less about our dilemma.The day prior spoke with someone called Lorenzo who assured me that it will be fixed ASAP and he will get back to me with a solution. Never happened.Now we are stuck with these machines that don’t work, we are loosing money on a daily basis and they are not offering us any solutions.Now we have to report these fools to department of fair trading and contact the actual manufacture and being the level of incompetence from their distributor to their attention.Good machines but a horrible company to deal with and full of dishonest people
