The Hills Medical

We have been going to the Hills Medical since we moved up the hills. Dr Hok Lim is a very personable and professional doctor. I have all the confidence taking our kids in to get thorough diagnosis. The office staff are very lovely to deal with too.

I’ve been attending the practise for a few years now - and have always loved my Doctor and the reception staff… However the last few times I’ve attended the wait times have been close to/or over an hour… Additionally every time I attend the price increases vastly. What used to cost me around $60-$110 for a short to long appointment, now costs me $150. I literally visited for a long appointment a couple of months back and paid $120, and today had to spend $150 for the same appointment… Yes there is a Medicare rebate, but I financially struggle like the majority, $150 to throw down regularly for appointments is ludicrous. Especially for those on pensions, disability and otherwise. I’m a young person in need of quality appointments; whom needs to express, that this is now unaffordable and unrealistic for locals with complex physical or mental health issues in need of regular appointments. I hope this feedback can be taken seriously, as I’m a supporter of my local Doctors and visit very regularly - I feel strongly that managerial decisions concerning fees need to be addressed NOT for profit purposes, but for the service it provides - which is SUPPOSED to be, accessible health care for all of us.

Great help with my pre-employment vaccinations. Very knowledgeable. Went above and beyond to make sure it all got completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Been going here since I was extremely young and it's always great. All the doctors I've seen are very friendly and helpful and it's also a beautiful location. The waiting room feels like the lobby of a day spa than a doctors waiting room. Will continue to come here even if I move 30 minutes away

I have been using Hills Medical now for over 10 years and find Dr Smith more than capable at his job. Trust me, with 60+ years under the belt, I have seen my share of practices.The grounds are equalled by none in my knowledge as a calming environment to enter.

We have relied on Dr. Smith and Hills Medical for all family medicine over the past 30 years, and literally trust them with our lives. The service and care provided has been consistently of the highest level, and gets my personal recommendation as the epitome of family practice.

I found the doctors to be respectful and thorough.and wanting to help. Unlike other medical centre's who try to push you out the door. They actually care. Well done guys

I saw Dr Hok Lim repeatedly with a debilitating hip pain that prevented me functioning normally. I have asked for referrals for imaging to establish the cause however that was refused by Dr Lim. He assured me that it was mild osteoarthritis that required no more than some anti inflammatory medication. Because of the constant pain, I saw another GP and had an x-ray and CT scan confirming the severity of the case requiring surgery. Dr Graeme (owner) in case you wondering, this is why I'm leaving the practice. We come to our doctors for help and not for being sent away with two aspirins.
