Post covid lock down last year i had to find a new groomer for my standard poodle as my regular longtime groomer was no longer able to groom big dogs. Mel fitted me in and even rang my old groomer to find out how she'd cut Leroy. We have been very happy with the service and care and Leroy who didnt like the dryer at all is even now doing okay with it! Awesome salon! Thanks Mel and Chris

It's hard to find groomers that are able to deal with a Pomeranian who gets his undercoat matted purely because of his stubborn hatred of being brushed. Vader had some pretty bad matts on him when I took him in, but he came back to me lacking this loose, tangled coat and still looked like his usual flamboyant and extra self. Definitely recommend South Side Dog Grooming. Lovely people and excellent groomers.

Our 8 month old Golden Retriever is a big boy with a puppy brain and Mel is doing a fantastic job getting him used to being groomed. She's patient, understands dogs and does a lovely job with Larry. Highly recommend Chris and Mel!

Mel has clipped our red cattle dog for the last couple of summers and done a great job. It's not easy to make a cattle dog haircut look good but Mel has clearly surpassed all previous groomers' attempts. Marv can be grumpy but is quite relaxed with Mel.

Great service and hyper reliable. We approached South Side Grooming about our puppy after the groomer we booked cancelled last minute. They fit us in despite dealing with the covid deluge. Our puppy was very happy, and second time we went, he was super excited to get there. Excellent job - puppy's come out looking lovely both times. Really responsive and lovely groomers. Have been highly recommending to our doggo friends.

Mel & Chris are amazing groomers and my dogs always look fantastic! We have a rescue that is fearful of people and Mel was so good with her that little Polly is happy to see her every time we go in and Chris has won her trust as well! If I have special instructions, they listen to what I want and my girls always look beautiful!

First time taking my dog (Biggie) to a different groomer and the results was the best I’ve seen. His coat was the softest ever, his fur was cut so smooth and consistent and they treated him with all love and care. Definitely recommend Southside Groomers for all your dog grooming needs !

Chris and Mel have been amazing in caring for my extremely anxious labradoodle. They have also been wonderful in teaching me how to train and help my pooch. Completely recommend this grooming service.
