Torquay Bowls Club

Great for a casual dinner. Good relaxed atmosphere. Lots of folk were having a great time playing twilight bowls. Food was very good especially the Gumbo.

I appreciate we cannot control if chefs are sick but the service last night was appalling - the staff advised that it was only serving a limited menu - parmis etc there were 2 only Gluten Free options - when I asked if they could do a chicken fillet without crumbs there were crickets. They could not guarantee cross contamination. The fish for the hefty price of @27 was the size of my palm no lemon or tartare which we had to ask for , they put Balsamic dressing on the salad which they could not advise was GF - a friend of mine found a hair on their plate that was not his. I had one of the staff lean across me to get to the plate to the person to my left - Totally disappointing.

Great interior. Service was excellent. Plenty of security and nice dance floor. Drinking water and soda water were free

Sorry but no atmosphere here, extremely limited menu and that's it on specific nights. Ordered the Salmon expecting what was stated, was served with chips and lettuce.Positive note: Staff were great, Chef was a gun.

We stopped here for lunch. This place is pricy for what you get. The food looks very nice, but it's missing flavour. I ordered a medium steak, and got medium rare. The staff was overall quick and polite. However, there was one guy at a bar who definitely needs to improve his attitude.

What a stunning location overlooking the beach. Food was quite nice when we were there for a weekend lunch

They were kind enough to let The art of the minds, hold the Surf Coast song contest and the Big Boys Breakfast it's was Parma night that was delicious

Great place for a meal . Great views of the beach ‘ fantastic outside seating on a hot day. Beer was ice cold. Staff were excellent ,good car parking. But the food wasn’t quite as good as expected. Maybe it was me.

Great food great service, not badly price meals. Had the Chicken Parma and others had Chicken Snitz. Come out in a timely fashion and the service was great with a friendly smile. Must go and try to anyone in the area looking for a relaxed atmosphere . Kid-friendly friendly with wheelchair access. Clean and well maintained

When I was on my holiday I came in and checked this place. It's a nice place to have a drink and watch lawn bowls. I am very appreciative that one of the members that ran the place said hi and had a chat. Explain the rules of the game when I ask her. Thank you for your time
