My child is currently going there and I am less then impressed on the way they manage bullying. The teacher's are oblivious to many situations even when bullying happens in the classrooms, they lack any sort of care or knowledge towards a peer who is having trouble. A form was given to an adult to fill out to discuss matter's further with the principal. Seriously a form? where talking about bullying this kind of thing needs to be addressed ASAP and managed accordingly. I am already looking into another school for my child. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

Met some of my best and closest friends there, even met the love of my life there.The school itself might be a ghetto day care, but it's MY ghetto day care, and I'd give just about anything to go back in time and relive my days as a student again.

My kids are currently going to that school and I am disgusted with how they manage bullying like a teacher named miss Singh is making my autistic and ADHD son go to NAPLAN when I got him out of NAPLAN but no it's not enough he had to wag just to get away from NAPLAN and that teacher honestly disgusting but it's the only school up here that supports disability and disorders luckily he has friends that have comforted him and yesterday he was in one of his friends class I'm honestly disgusted on the lack of treating bullying

Absolutely disgusting excuse for a school. My siblings have never been bullied until they attended this high school. Granted, it is not the school’s fault they are being bullied, the school does NOTHING about bullying and makes ZERO attempt to contact parents about their child’s safety when it comes to bullying from the hands of another student. My siblings are being taken out of this school and I have never been more relieved. I will make sure EVERYONE I know, knows how disgusting this school and it’s staff are. Absolutely no excuse for tolerating and encouraging bullies.

I was a student in the first year that it opened, 1968 as I recall, when there was only grade eight, and no uniform. I was living temporarily with my sister in Aitkenvale in Townsville, so I attended. It was a great school that year. The principal was Mr Tickle. He let us wear thongs to school. They began quite well academically. I was sorry to leave when I did. Of course, this review is now irrelevant as it was more than fifty years ago. But I wanted to say something because I really loved my time there. I'm sure it went on to bigger and better things.
