Great spot to view the dish with some food and drinks. The coffee was average but the pies were really good.

A bit of a line up to get in. They were quite busy when we went @ midday.The grilled chicken wrap was very tasty. Doesn't come with chips, had to get a side order & they were extra. The coke was a bit warmer than expected but still drinkable.Definately take the family back out there for lunch on our next visit.Hint. Don't go @ midday, leave it till about 1 pm.The view is amazing. Never get sick of looking at the telescope. I grew up in Parkes, been there who knows how many times, even though I've been all over it.

So so sorry about the cafe. Bloody hot today/ A/C not on, door open to let the heat and flys in. Selection unimpressive and what was on display, welll.... better not saying anything more. This was so disappointing as I had planned to have something there and instead left with the family in tow and went Peak Hill. Oh Prices do seem extreme.

My family all decided attend and support our local Dish Cafe for breakfast this morning, and as much as I hate to write this I just feel like I must share here on how awful our experience was in hopes it may change.We ordered pancakes for our kids that were charred black, so much so our kids refused to eat them. We sent one lot back to the kitchen only to receive the same quality back a second time. Meals were very average for the price and we were extremely disappointed. We asked for a takeaway container and we were handed an old smelly broken container which we decided not to use for obvious reasons.Sadly, we will not be eating at the Dish Cafe again in the future unless the food improves.

Gourmet pie and delicious salad, hubbie had the Bacon And Egg Roll which he rated highly, scones with fresh cream and lovely jam were also yummo, great coffee. Have wanted to visit foe years, so glad we finally went

All the baked goods look amazing, so hard to choose. We came for breakfast with a dish view, had eggs on toast. No picture because I ate them down before i thought of it. Gluten free bread options. Good coffee. Well worth going into this cafe while visiting the dish.

We decided to have breakfast at the cafe to extend our visit to the Dish and get more views of the Dish. So glad we did. Super nice, friendly and fast service. They even made a special small yoghurt and fruit for me. My son got the pancakes and they were delicious. We are pancake aficionados so that says a lot. Great tea.

Dish Cafe
Didn't actually go to the cafe but did fo for a gander at the Dish which was brilliant. The large array of hands of activities, lectures and the main event itself were all well worth the visit!
