My wife and i went out for dinner at the hall's gap tavern and it was best meal i have had in a long time. Highly recommend. Chris and partner very friendly and welcoming

We ordered chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy, burgers, pizza and kids meals. All were cooked perfectly and great value for money. The bar man / server was super friendly and a superstar for the tavern. We will definitely be back next time in halls gap and highly recommend

Very friendly and comfy room. Needs lots of TLC on building such as carpets. Bed clean and comfortable. Good live musician on Saturday night. Pool table available. Location convenient to other amenities. Price is economical. Wildlife spotted outside.

We were there at 6pm and were walking out by 635pm. Wasn't overly impressed with the steak. You could go as far as saying it was the worst steak I've ever had. Salad was plane, and the sauce is an instant sauce type. I didn't mind the chips.My guess is that the steaks are stored frozen and taken out when needed. My guess its been boiled to be defrosted and then quickly fried. By the way, it was ordered medium rare too.5☆ for the hospitality, kids' meals and pizza were OK, and the value for money was pretty good considering the rest of Hall's Gap is rather expensive.

Loved our meals. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Whoever thought of pairing the roast pumpkin with a snitzel... hats off to you. So delicious and my husband finished off what i couldnt. Best pub meal we have had in a long time. Keep up the great work we will be back.

Went to dinner here twice during our stay. Had two fantastic meals. Great price, great quality. Pizza and pasta were delicious. My kids had an icy pole with their meals and my niece wanted one too. I asked Chris behind the bar if I could get one for her and he gave it to her free of charge. 10/10

My husband and I came here for dinner, for my birthday. The staff are absolutely lovely and very accommodating, the food was also magnificent. They have take-away tubs if you don’t finish your meal, which came real handy for my recently food-poisoned husband! 100% recommend the tavern if you are in Halls Gap, you won’t regret it!

We spent most of the Easter weekend (meals and a sneaky late afternoon drink after being out and about) at the Halls Gap Tavern and we loved it. Chris and his team were beyond accommodating. The food was seriously delicious and the overall ambiance was warm and inviting. We will definitely be back next year and Chris, thank you so much for your generous hospitality

Only went for a meal could not fault the service. All staff are friendly and care that you enjoy their meal. Meal was wonderful, cooked how I asked for it to be. Yes, it's not 5 star, but I would go there again if im in Halls Gap. Thanks for a night relaxed night with yummy meal.
