Weston Creek Dog Park
A lovely dog park. They've planted lots of little trees so will keep getting better and better. We've had no bad experiences with nasty dogs or owners. It's a bit muddy, but that's to be expected.

Nice dog park with some shade and separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. It's a shame so much poo left behind by careless dog owners

Still needs a bit more shade, as it can get quite hot during the summertime. Would also benefit from another drinking fountain for the dogs. Good open space however. Seems like mostly a good crew or visitors also.

Can be too hot in summer and too cold in winter being on a hill with the wind. The shade cloth isn't much use for shade. Will be better once the trees grow in 5-10yrs.

Weston Creek Dog Park
Canberra’s newest dog park has two fenced areas: one for our smaller furry friends and a large enclosure for the bigger dogs. Each enclosure has a water tap and small trough for communal drinks and there is a rubbish bin at both gates so you can dispose of droppings. The park is large, dusty and often windy as it’s in an exposed area in the foothills of Mt Stromlo. There is very little shade and only two bench seats. The car park is large and connects to nearby walking trails. There are a lot of regular dogs who visit the park, with most of their owners very responsible. Recommended.

Great place to take my pooch on weekends to play with other dogs, a little sad that some people bring their small children inside the park where large dogs(like mine) play, whilst he is good with kids, he does play hard and run fast, I would hate for him to collide with one of the little kids whilst there, so please consider taking only your dog and take your kids to a human park , please??

Nice park. Small dog and larger dog areas. Generally friendly dogs and people. Waste bags and bins supplied. Water available. Plenty of parking
