After trying several mechanics without success for my Chaparral 180si (volvo penta), I tried William and his team and havent looked back. Their knowledge and service of American boats has been outstanding and i highly recommend them. I continue to use Marine Eesentials for all boating needs and recently purchased a HONDA outboard from them as well. Couldnt be happier with pricing and service.

Do not use this business for any work on your boat. Very poor workmanship. Take way too long to complete work, but only charge by the hour. Caused damage to our boat of $20,000.00 when an inexperienced worker was left to complete the work, that should have been completed by 2 x workers. Has now claimed no liability to the damages they caused. Would not recommend them to anyone, very unprofessional.

I got some electrical upgrades done, sounder, radio, battery, switches, isolator and lights. Will supplied the materials and was very professional with the work. Done on time and on budget. Stoked with the works.

William prepared a pre-purchase inspection report on a boat i was looking at. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. He was very prompt in providing the report (same day report). I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Will & Rod did an excellent job of renovating my project boat. Where other people failed these guys delivered. They were very fair on price and the attention to detail and quality of their workmanship was outstanding. I recommend these guys very highly indeed.Will took me and boat out for a maiden voyage too just to make sure everything was working fine.

Highly Recommended. Will was upfront and honest with his initial assessment which wasn't a great one. I was pretty happy when the final price quoted was less than expected. Took a few days longer than expected but was due to parts delivery. Overall a great experience.

My motor wouldnt start. on my trip up the coast. All it took was William to look at it and he identified a corroded power lead to the coil. My motor was fixed in 2 minutes!I was so impressed with his professionalism i got him to service the motor and rewire my trailer - he even packs grease in the leads to protect them from saltwater. Its great to see a true master at work, and attention to detail makes the difference between coming home or being stuck out at sea! Ive used other marine mechanics', but no one matches this guy. Well done.

Don’t go to this place whatever you do ! I got charged $4000 Just to fit 2 sounders and 8 lights, he then refused to give an invoice then also blocked my number cause I wanted and invoice. Very rude and disrespectful and has no experience what so ever, I got charged for the silliest things. He was also going to do my flooring until I found out from other people that he doesn’t cnc cut the pieces he didn’t even tell me And he advertised photos of cnc cut flooring. He is the biggest money hungry person I’ve seen.
