It's absolutely upsetting to know that you are still going ahead with the culling of the magpies.Swooping happens for 6 weeks a year....that's it...Surely there were other options that could have been tested first before this extreme measure.Over 15,000 people signed the petition to help save the magpies, yet you still decide to go ahead and kill them. It's rare for magpies to swoop, they aren't aggressive by nature.Very disappointing for a council that I have looked up to in the past.

Tree preservation approval has a council telephone number for call back. Over a period of 1 month, messages left on that number were not answered. The feeling you get from that type of treatment, is that you are just a stupid ratepayer, who should just pay rates and go away.

Their priority is overpopulating what used to be a nice and quiet suburb. At the same time, with all of this mass construction of apartments, there’s absolutely no thought or plans given to improving the already choked up (and damaged) roads, car parks and public facilities. The area has had a steep drop off in the past ten years. The rate of crime in the area is also reflective of this.

there is a great opportunity for Lane Cove retail precinct to be marketed as a place of difference as it has some unique featureseg several arcades, open play spaces& 4 upmarket op shops plus good mix of food, fashion, pharmacies, homewares, cafes, banks & book stores, library, art gallery.themed events events could be held foodie week, fashion fortnight, vintage value, amazing arcades, etc.

We just moved into Greenwich and have packing paper also some cardboard. Shame that that council pretend to care about recycling and then provide no means to do this. In QLD they have a tip, you can drop off paper, cardboard, and glass bottles and cans for free. Rang the local council they told me I will have to do it bit by bit in the tiny bin they provide us. It will take me a good year!! Thanks for nothing!

So I am putting this review on behalf of many residents living in a building on Birdwood Ave. We have tried many attempts to reach and talk to someone from council so we can raise our concerns regarding pedestrians, local traffic and danger to the neighbourhood. It seems like it's a place that you never get an answer back to any sort of queries that you have for them. It makes me wonder what's the responsibility or the purpose of the Council if they won't serve to the community they are meant to serve? Dear Lane Cove Council members, could you please get back to the request/complaint that one of our unit owners (MH) raised with you on 10/2/2021 via email? I already know this will be most likely one of the failed previous attempts but we honestly don't know what else we need to do to get service from our" council?"

Worst rangers who are not interested in public safety but simply to justify cost to be on the road. Some penalties can be avoided if you simplify ask the people to move away incase they stop at a place in error.
