Great place to grab a coffee and a snack and watch the ocean for a while. I often see whales and dolphins from here. Oh no the wooden steps going down to Soldiers beach have been removed due to storm damage. Sign says they will be replaced.....one day, so if you need steps drive around to the life saving club and use their ones.

Lovely little shop by the beach with beautiful views and good pricing. Service was friendly. Fish and chips were delicious and came in a generous size for the price. Very nice place!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little place because it offers food, drinks, muffins, cookies and ice creams all in one little place. There’s plenty of chairs in the front, sides and behind the cafe. There is no indoor seating and no indoors. There’s even bean bags on the grass nearby, though a sign asks you to not let your dogs on them! It’s a good weather place because there’s no real cover, so don’t go in the rain.It was a warm winter day with a nice breeze so we sat toward the side in the sunshine with a great view of the beach and watched for whales while our drinks, hot chocolate, macchiato and cappuccino, came. It did not take long even though it was very busy during the school holidays. Our fish and chips x 3 took a little longer but was fresh and delicious. When I asked if there was any lemon or tartare it was quickly brought at no charge for all three of us in individual portions on little serving plates. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are some wheelchair parking spots in the car park, but they were all taken on the day. Most of the parks were taken, but we managed to get one toward the bottom of the slope not too far from Snax. The slope is pronounced so power chairs or assistance would be best, otherwise a healthy strong person to push you is needed. You can look at the sea and whale watch while at the cafe. There is a toilet block painted with whales on the southern side and up another strong slope. We didn’t use it so I do not know if there are any wheelchair accessible toilets. A cement path winds around the headland allowing great views in all directions. You can see Soldiers Beach on the South and the Norah Head lighthouse on the North. There are a few seating benches to sit on and these were very popular the day we visited. Further up the hill is a small group of big rocks you can also sit on. You can also sit on the grass or picnic on the grass off the path. There are beaches on either side but they are down a huge steep slope or extensive wooden steps. There are gorgeous rocks and rock platforms to see and possibly explore at low tide. There were surfers trying to catch waves also. In fact it seemed very popular for surfers at Soldiers Point Beach on the South of the carpark. You can see the Soldiers Point Surf Life Saving club house to the south and it is a short drive away.

This is an excellent little cafe in an awesome spot. But, It is very weather dependant as there is no real undercover area. There are some sun umbrellas, but these do little in the event of rain and can not be used in high winds. However, if it is a nice day this place is one of the best to sit and watch the ocean whilst drinking your coffee and snacking on hot chips.Te staff is professional and lovely to deal with.Prices are not too high.

This surfside cafe is a must for anyone visiting the area. Owned and operated by locals, great food options including vegan friendly. Service was flawless and wait times are normal for a popular cafe. Bring the kids, bring your misses and start your day right like mine was under the healing sun of Norah head.

Absolutely disgusted with the way we treated. We ordered our food, girl at the counter asked for our name for the order. After waiting 30 minutes for our food I went and questioned where our order was at, the lady behind the counter, which seemed to be the owner was very rude and quick to say we are busy your fod will be out soon. Low and behold our was was already waiting but the girl called out a different name, and the owner was quick to treat us rudely, and even one of the staff members out the back didn't take to kindly to our complaints and yelled , have a nice day.Don't waste your time or money going here on a public holiday as obviously the staff don't care about service
