Very interesting murals in some backstreets

If you're into street art, nearly all of the buildings and alcoves in Artist's Lane are spray painted from top-to-bottom.Artist's Lane runs from Tyranny of Distance (Union Street) to Back of Chapel Backpackers (Green Street), a distance of about 200 metres. It's only a short walk from Windsor Station (Sandringham line), and an even shorter walk from Tram Stop 44 on the No. 78 tram which runs along Chapel Street from Balaclava to Richmond. Windsor station is only 4 stops from the CBD (Flinders St station). It only takes about 10 minutes.There's some fantastic street art. My favourite is the large comic-book-cover type painting of a female superhero covering one entire wall in the open garage at the rear of Bromley & Co. I lived in the garage for over a year, and used to see it every morning and evening.There are numerous cafes, restaurants and bars within 500 metres of Artist's Lane. And Union Heights (A business specialising in cans of spray paint for street art)
