Papparich never fails. Nasi with beef rendang and sambas eggplant which was the show stopper (thank me later). Prawn and chives dumplings were good. Would skip the banana fritters next time, but the ice cream and lychee drink were excellent for my sweet tooth. Shop gets busy sometimes during lunch hours so plan ahead and happy eating! ;)

Found a piece of uncooked item that seem plastic to me in my curry fish fillet noodle soup. Staff said it was uncooked flat rice noodle…. I found this almost at the end of my meal amidst the noodles and the soup was pretty hot; I assume any flat rice noodle would have partially or melted a bit by now but this item was still very hard. Anyways, having anything uncooked in your meal is a big turn off.

Another favourite (Halal) Malaysian Restaurant from Macquarie Shopping Centre. Just be patience when you’re coming during their busy time. Will take a while to have available seats.

Their food standard has progressively dropped from the first times I visited them.This is the 3rd time in the past 6 months they don't have any Nasi Lemak or Kunyk due to 'staff' issues.Quality of the food that came out is no better than food from generic food court.Serving staff is good but food is sub par. They have a kitchen issue. Just like Chatswood which is worst.

Average Malaysian. fast and efficient service, dining room seemed a little run down and not what you used get at pappa rich.When Papa Rich first opened a few years ago I was so excited. they seem to position themselves as a premium Malaysian restaurant, however over the years the experience is best described as average. It ticks the box and thats it.. There's so many better Malaysian places than this.

Went there with friends on a Saturday, didn't wait too long for a table for 10. Ordered wat tan hor and partner ordered beef rendang. Both very yummy. The wat tan hor had plenty of sauce and meat/seafood plus good serving of flat rice noodles. My partner liked the beef rendang as well. Both had good portions which was very filling.

The food was horrible, Everything is so dark that seems like they are using some undescribable oil. And the service attitude was bad too you never see a smile. See below picture, do you really think it's chicken skin? I'm a family of four and couldn't finish one Laksa

Extensive range of Malaysian food but some of the food came out cold and was very disappointing. A problem with big chains is that they lose their carefulness and passion when they expand. I feel as though Papa Rich has fallen to this problem.Laksa flavour was fantastic. Rendang was cold. Satay's were fantastic. Pan Mee was also quite cold. Teh Tahrik was nice.
