Mt Cotton Seafood

Quick service. Ordered a Seafood dinner for two, fish (cod) was delicious, as were the chips and prawn cutlets, the potato scallops and calamari were okay. It was all a little bit too oily, maybe didn’t let it sit long enough to drain excess oil off. Peach iced tea was fresh and tasty.

I done real love it and the food real nice and plentiful and i dine love the fish it cooked perfect and good crumb. Will do come back for more of the food from the ocean

People posting pictures of dark yellow chips saying they’re over cooked and other posting same pictures saying they’re perfect and yummy. I’m genuinely confused. As someone that knows a thing or two about food I can safely say that the dark yellow chips are from dirty oil and is a big health hazard. We ordered fries and calamari with a works burger. Service was abnormally slow for 3 customers in 30 minutes. Plus our chips were also dark yellow and not very good at all.This venue should be closed until they have learned how to clean or replace their fryer oil. It’s foul.

They need to update their opening hours as, it says online and in store they open at 2.30 on Tuesday and Wednesday.... this is the second time I came around 2.30 and they weren't open.... they didn't open till after 3pm....That's the only thing...

Health and safety needs to have a look at this! Friend had a hair in her bubble tea and hygiene is really low here. Very cheap fish and chips though.

Chips are cooked perfectly. Fish is pretty good. Excellent burgers.

Really don't like writing one star reviews so here's hoping they respond appropriately because really this isn't a big deal but you can't do this when you entire business is the sale of food.Ordered online at approx 6.30 pm. purchased a works chicken burger, superdog and a milkshake. told to arrive at 7.03 pm via text.i arrived about 5 minutes early and went to collect me order. I was told at that time that they did not have any hot dogs and they apologised. However, at no time prior to my arrival did anyone contact me.so this caused a delay while i contacted my family to arrange a different orders. We chose big cheese burgers.I therefore waited until a further 15 minutes for the new burger to be prepared (kudos they did not charge me for the increase given the price of the burger and they through in some prawn chips for free which i had intended to pay for originally)I got home only to find out that instead of a works chicken burger, they had instead given me a works beef burger (again not a big deal but not what i ordered).Pros: the burgers were nice and chips crunchy and well salted. milkshake was good.just need to fix up the communication and basic errors.If the owner reads this, i have supporting receipts and photos showing incorrect burgers.UPDATE:ordered two burgers, chips and a Dagwood dog on 22.11.2023. Everything was perfect. Ordered online. Food was ready within 15 minutes and was ready at the specified pickup time. Can't fault them.Clearly my earlier review is no longer relevant. 5 star

Top quality good value fish and chips in a very basic setting -possible more suited to take away but was fine for a quick dinner on the move
