Perfect time for Pelican feeding. Shame some tourist was hitting the pelicans before and during being fed. Utter disrespect.Grass opposite large Carpark is due for a much needed cut below the walking path.Beach was nicely looked after and the marina for beautiful.

Feeding the Pelicans at 12 midday every day, free to watch and great fun with a guide who gave out lots of information.

Amazing place. Buzzing with activity. The water birds are everywhere. Mainly silver gulls, but also pelicans, cormorants, black swans and water hens. The water rushes in or out with incredible force at the changing of the tides, and the clincking of the boats rigging at the pier fills the air. The occasional large ray swims under the pier. Shops and public toilets are near by, lots of parking, picnic tables and plenty of grass to sit on. Not the best for swimming, but great for walks at sunset or in the evening.

We enjoyed a nice walk along the beach was cold and windy but overall was good to see the marina and some boats also the local pelicans where out and people were taking pics. We also had fish and chips their which was really fresh food it was full of people waiting a long line.

Beautiful spot. Watch the pelicans get fed for free then lunch at the fish and chip shop which was delicious and the shop was very busy. Very enjoyable outing. Thanks

Just beautiful. Try to go here during low tide or as close to as possible. From the Jetty head down to the beach, go to the left and over the stairs in the rock wall. There you will be able to access the sand bar that is exposed in low tide. Had a wonderful time playing floor is lava with the kids, finding wildlife and enjoying the water.
