My observation, Woolworths shelvesBit low with stock at times , bottle shops well stocked , takeaway foods are lacking few empty shops, I guess Woolworths own them lol

Would be 5 stars if it had a Brumby's bakery. The butcher is excellent. Really large & very tidy Reject shop.

The Fish and chip shop in Marian, puts many in Mackay to shame. The $15 dollar special.. Fish, chips and a can of drink ended up feeding 3 people... There were so many chips. The fish was huge and really nice tasting. We will return.

Staff are very helpful in the chemist. I had to visit there and with the mask mandate I struggle wearing one so I wore one for the couple of minutes when I went in and told th e m I would wait outside until they were ready for me. They came to the door to let me know they were ready. I think that is great service. And because I wasn't being rude about masks they respected me as much as I showed respect for them and the mandate.Thanks Ladies.

Overall not bad. Selection of shops are fairly well done. Not their fault tho when covid and natural disasters prevent stock from arriving, give them a break when things happen, and you will find staff will be most agreeable with you.Edit. They are training new young people. Give em a break, we all have to learn and don't need negative people short fusing on new people, esp kids trying to work.

I shop there because it's close but I can't say that IM VERY HAPPY ABOUT WOOLWORTHS REDUCING THEIR STOCK CHOICES ON THE SHELVES to the point where I have to go to other stores to buy what I need and used to buy there , I also DO NOT LIKE the fact that they are increasing the prices of fresh veg and / reducing the quality to increase profit margins .For example a bunch of spinach is trimmed and reduced but the pricing stays the same as previously or increased as well .No thanks , I'd rather shop fortnightly somewhere else when I have to go in to Mackay and shop at honest prices for reasonable produce and support locals . !!!
