Highly recommend GJ Gardener Homes Gold Coast. Specially Site Manager Beau Sheridan and Les Johnson New Home Consultant. These two are the Dream Team. They created and delivered us our dream home. We will be forever thankful to them.The entire planning and building experience was an absolute pleasure with GJ, we would do it again in a heart beat with them. Nothing was a ever a problem whatsoever.The finished product is fantastic quality. We are so unbelievably happy with it. Building with GJ Gardner Helensvale was the worst experience of my life. I have never had a worse experience. Our project took longer than promised & cost more than estimated (significantly). We had four separate project managers during our build which made things worse - no continuity. Worse still, when it rains outside it also rains inside our house and after almost four years this still hasn't been fixed. GJ Gardner Helensvale just sends their handyman with a tube of silicone and it has never made any difference. Whenever it rains we have to get out our buckets. We even had a toilet leak for a year and over a dozen tradies traipsed into our place over the course of the year swearing it wasn't their work - it was, the painter found the toilet leak. Their business model is flawed, they have the trades fix any problems so the trades (so as to not loose any money) deny responsibility. GJ Gardner Helensvale didn't even have our carpets cleaned after a toilet leak - yuck. The senior employee working on our current roof leak hasn't returned my calls since before Christmas - and it is late January. Do yourself a favour, steer clear of this company.

I love my home! So glad I chose GJ! Whole process was easy! Floor plans area second to none! Hayley from sales has been amazing and still is amazing! Highly recommend this franchise. Chris sourced the best guys in the business for my retaining wall, it’s literally perfect. Rob and Jimmys combined efforts produced a high quality home with little to no defects. Fast build time!The only thing I can fault about this franchise is Simon in management. He ruined a few people’s build experience as you can see from other reviews. But he’s leaving now so don’t let that worry you :) everything else was amazing!

Worst experience of dealing with any company in my entire life. 4 months of planning and I go to sign the contract and they seem to have lost all of the inclusions??? Funnily enough the price had been pumped up and they couldn't tell me where or why?After researching I found over 5 people in Coomera Waters alone , who had just built with GJ Helensvale and would NEVER build with them again. Do yourself a favour and do your research. This company lacks in any type of Values and the owner clearly has no Integrity.

From the awesome design mind of Matt Dagg to the fantastic Support from Simon the CEO, Beau our site manager and Ashlee in the office, 5 star service all the way. As a Navy Diver veteran with issues" these guys were understanding and very supportive. I highly recommend to all my fellow Veterans to give GJ Gardner Helensvale a go. As with any build there were tiny issues but all were sorted out promptly and to both parties satisfaction."

G.J Gardner Homes Gold Coast were phenomenal from start to finish.Hayley in sales was so accommodating and extremely helpful providing us with all the information, tips & tricks we needed being first home buyers.Kim helped us so much with our colour selection and dealt with all our back and forth emails regarding EVERYTHING - she was just incredible!Craig our supervisor was just so on top of everything. He was super proactive and reassuring about every step. He kept us well informed with weekly progress updates and advised us of key dates throughout the whole build.Our build was finished before schedule. With a few minor things not completed like the mailbox and clothesline (BUT this was due to stock issues because of COVID - and was not at fault of GJ), all follow up tasks were completed within the first week of us being there.We have both said we would highly recommend GJ Gardner Homes Gold Coast to anyone we know wanting to build.As first home owners this process was such a big and scary step for us - but it was made so much easier by the quality team we had working with us.Thankyou again to everyone involved in building our beautiful home. Did not get what we were told we would at all.Wanted to hand the house over without any turf in the front yard and a skip in the driveway! The back yard was left like a building site after we were told that it would be completed like the neighbours house.Missed site meetings, faulty air-con unit,oven not working,front door lock broken,marks on walls,marks on carpets......could go on and on.Never again.

We put a deposit on a House and Land package through this franchise in August 2021. After 9 months of delays with development the build price of the 35sq (off the plan) home increased by roughly 80% ($380k). Advertised and agreed inclusions were no longer honoured. The increase was well above comparable builders increases at this time.We have spent 3 months trying to get the build deposit back. They have agreed but don’t seem to want to follow through. Unanswered calls, emails. When attending the office in person we were assured this would be rectified immediately. Another month has now passed and we have not received any further communication or refund.We know of others that are being refused a 20k land deposit that they’re entitled too.At a time where choosing your builder is very important, I would steer clear of this franchise

0 Stars If I could. Only builder from around 10 that I have contacted that couldn't give a rough quote on building costs. Sign of the times, GJ gardener is busy and they don't care.Ask for a price on how much for a E grade slab (rare but with this particular block something I'd had been advised to get pricing for). Answer was no idea never done one and can't get a price.Ask for a price on 4 different designs we liked. Got around $1300 sqm.Ask for N4 wind rating price increase. No idea.Ask for tanks and septic. Again no idea.Asked does it include solar or air-conditioning. Not sure it could but I'm not sure...On top of that the rough price was give or take $75,000 on a $350,000 build. The builds look great but how this guy has a job is beyond me.If you want to know a price of the build, good luck getting one. They just want to build and bill. Don't ask questions because they Can't be bothered.
