Carys Martin Ceramics | Carys produces a range of handmade, wheel thrown pieces in her studio in Thornlands, Queensland. Inspiration for these tableware and one off art pieces is drawn from nature, travel around the world and ancient cultures. She has a series of ceramic travel cups where she donates to One Tree Planted for each sale.

Carys is a beautiful craftsman of all things ceramic. Whether it be creating perfect pieces with individual charm thrown on the wheel, or crafting one-off, exquisite display and exhibition pieces, her work is once of a kind. Carys also openly shares her talent and passion through small workshops based in her charming studio space - you may also be lucky enough to get your pooch fix with her beautiful fur-friend Bramble.

Amazing experience, the studio has a great atmosphere and Carys walks you through the process which makes these classes perfect for a complete novice.There are some great pieces on display for inspiration. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something different to do on a weekend.

Went with some girlfriend to the Marvellous Mug workshop after seeing them at the Mind,Body and Spirit Festival in February. It ran on a Sunday between 10am -12pm and was $95 per person.The customer service communication was great from start to finish. We had to reschule and they were very accommodating. When you arrive you get to choose your mug" and they run through some decorating ideas. There were options for everyone. Super easy to complete and they assist if you need a hand. I would recommend for a small group or even a great date idea. Also they have a small store you can browse and purchase if you want. So many beautiful things."

I have attended 2 workshops, the marvellous mugs and today the wind chimes and wall hangings, absolutely loved both! Carys is so friendly and inspiring, even the artistically challenged such as myself end up with a creation to be proud of. Highly recommend

I attended the wind chimes and wall hangings workshop- the perfect place to be on a Sunday! Carys is so talented and encouraging and Bramble is an absolutely delightful studio assistant; I can’t wait to sign up for another class! 10/10 can recommend for all ✨

Carys Martin’s Ceramics Studio is incredible – a veritable wonderland!! Carys’ works that are on display and available for purchase are stunning. The Makers Meet classes are fantastic. I commenced learning with Carys six months ago and I am constantly surprised by my progress. Carys caters to all levels in her classes and workshops in a fun, warm and supportive environment. I equally treasure being part of this lovely community with the skills and techniques I am learning from Carys in class.

I've now attended 2 workshops at Carys' studio and both have been amazing. The studio has a beautiful chill atmosphere which allows for your creativity to flow. Carys is very supporting and helpful, congrats on a beautiful studio.
