I’ve taken the time to write this company a long review because it may help even one person make an informed decision to invest in their gardening/landscaping needs.Whilst this is all purely from my own personal perspective and experience with this company, it can still be very comforting to have an idea of what to expect. It can be scary out there when trying to find good company’s to spend our hard earned money with for these kinds of services where trust and confidence can be a huge issue.I was very thankful to be referred to Dave and Jo at Green Fingers by a friend after needing some major tidy up to my very sad front yard. I had neglected it for many, many years other than regular mowing and hedging. In fact there were garden beds untouched for so long that they were barely visible and just a rubble of pavers, an old water sprinkler system and gravel and terrible soil. There were also very overgrown palm trees. On top of all that after a very necessary concreting job to repair a broken footpath, the lawn was very much worse for the wear. I was sure I would be up for a small fortune to get new lawn and to get it all up to scratch and tidy.Prior to getting the referral I knew I didn’t need anything fancy, just a decent tidy up and some new lawn, but I was super fearful of the cost and the fact that it’s near impossible to secure landscapers to quote let alone to do a job within a reasonable timeframe these days. I think it’s fair to say I hadn’t attended to my front yard properly for almost a decade also because of the fear that someone would just take my money without a real care factor.Well, Dave and Jo popped over within a few days to quote after I reached out to them. I was met with a lovely and friendly demeanour from both of them. Dave explained my options to work-in with what I wanted and what to be realistic about budget wise as things like turf vs grass seeds can make a big economic difference. He also went through a rough proposal right then and there so I had an idea of what he was thinking would work within my budget and needs. Dave is an excellent communicator and was very easy to deal with during this process. He appeared experienced and had a high care factor to look after my needs and budget- which I more than appreciated!Upon acceptance of the quote, everything got promptly ordered and within what felt like a very short timeframe works commenced and that’s when I really noticed I was being looked after by true professionals with a high care factor.Dave went out of his way for quite a few things for me, and it was greatly appreciated, but also, he was very gracious, kind and caring about it too. It really makes a HUGE difference when you feel and see someone actually care about what they are doing and how they are treating you.I wasn’t home over the few days when works were done so I didn’t get the pleasure of seeing Jo again, as I had to work, but Dave communicated what they were planning on doing the entire time which I very much appreciated.The end result was in short, jaw droppingly amazing. They went above and beyond my expectations. I didn’t spend that much overall to get the result I did, it was far beyond what I expected. I have some more landscaping works I need Green Fingers do for me, and I intend on taking full advantage of the opportunity to use their excellent services again with no fear anymore to get these kind of works around my home completed - just excitement to see the outcome of what they will do for me next!

I can highly recommend Dave if you're looking for someone to help you out with your citrus. My lime tree was overgrown and full of pests, rescuing it was a job beyond me. Dave arrived on time, worked hard, took his cuttings with him and was very reasonably priced. He even came back a few weeks later to check on the tree. It's absolutely thriving now and is a much more manageable size. Dave gave great advice on how to keep it in good health going forward. I cannot fault him!!
