Murrays Restaurant and Cafe
I came to this restaurant years ago as I remembered the nice salmon I had here. I thought I revisit it again for lunch. Eventhough the management had changed the food was still nice and filling. My children loved the pasta. The area is still so nice and so serene as it is looking over the gum trees and the lake. Only down side is not open for dinner I think.

Very happy beautiful location. I would recommend booking not a large restaurant. Food very yummy . And the views are fantastic on the Lake Macquarie. Will definitely be back. Customer service 10 +

Had a wonderful long lunch at Murrays Restaurant yesterday to celebrate my father's 95th birthday. Communications with Karen and the staff prior to the day were prompt and efficient. The service and food were without fault and the setting is stunning. Karen and staff ensured the day went smoothly making the day a memorable day for us all especially dad. Thanks

What a spectacular location. Unfortunately the service and food does not match. The restaurant was not busy yet all of the staff were behind the bar. We had to ask for everything, water, sugar, more drinks etc and then wait forever for them to bring it to the table. The Zucchini fritters were more like potato fritters which I would never have ordered had I known... while they were not bad they were not Zucchini. The staff were friendly enough but obviously not experienced, seemed there was no direction. With the right operator that place would thrive!

We had a lovely celebration lunch for my Mum's 90th. 10 of us enjoyed a lovely lunch & coffee. The staff were friendly & attentive, menu & good really good & the outlook beautiful. Well worth the drive. Special memories for a special lady.

Lovely service, great food and excellent views! The staff were friendly and thoughtful. The food at brunch was so good we went back the next day. This place made a relaxing holiday even better.

Murrays Restaurant and Cafe
The view is brilliant, well worth coming just for that. We came in the holiday period of 22'/23'. Staff were awesome, super friendly. Most of the food [lunch menu] is reasonable (but easily fried) up food. We went with kids and they were all very happy.Super good spot for a coffee. Would recommend with a follow up walk along the lake.
