Harvey Norman Midland

I have spent several thousand in the Midland and Busselton stores and was with Harvey Norman from the beginning. Then i would have given them top marks but not any longer. Whether they have got too big or cant get staff i dont know but customer service is now very poor. Ie a few months back i ordered over $500 of smeg kitchen items, when i hadnt heard i rang and was told they hadnt even been ordered. Then there were various other stories, in the end i asked and got my money back after three months.More recently i paid over a thousand dollars for a smeg coffee machine, it went wrong after a couple of months and i took it back to Harvey Norman in December last year, as it is under warranty.When i rang in January, yet another new sales assistant (None of them seem to stay more than two weeks?) I was told, OH THAT ONE. ITS STILL SITTING IN THE CORRIDOR ! i spoke to the manager and said it wasnt good enough, he said he would ring back. He got the new girl to ring me. last time i rang she tells me its waiting for parts. Its now February....Such a shame because they were excellent, but think its time i gave the good Guys a go,,,,,,,,,,,,We are now in february.Ps This issue was dealt with very professionally by Emma who kept me updated . I hope she stays with Harvey Norman because she has restored my faith in the company, and i returned to buy a Dyson v15 this week, and it was good to deal with Emma. I would like to say my next review will be four or five stars,

Checked with sales assistant if product i needed was the correct one to descale my coffee machine and was told yes .get home start using the product and its NOT the correct product .

The guys in the phone section were very knowledgeable. They helped me decide on the best option for a new phone and the best plan for it. Thanks guys.

I went to Harvey Norman Midland to purchase a washer dryer package. I was lucky enough to meet Rhonda who made the experience really easy and quick. The customer service was fantastic I will only go to Harvey Norman Midland for any further purchases.

Had a fridge delivered and the delivery guys where not very professional with how how they deal with customers. Also spilt loads of water on the timber flooring when removing the old fridge and he said that yea these fridges have a small internal storage of water. When asked well could have told me it would spill every where so I could have gotten towels ready ect to clean it up and not ruin the flooring. He just got a o well from the guy."

I recently bought a LaserJet printer from the Harvey Norman Midland store. I was served by a young man named Cody Stokes. He was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding and helpful. I had been to all the 'other ones' where the customer service was very poor to non existent. Harvey Norman can be very proud of this employee.

It’s finally time to post a positive review on my first Retail shop from my recent experience.Was trying to find a large lazy Susan for our new round table, and as it’s not a popular item, I had various futile attempt until I chanced upon it while passing by Harvey Norman Cannington.HN Cannington was kind enough to check & say it would take over 5 weeks to order it but that HN Midland had 2 which should be able to price match their price.A call to HN Midland last week, and I was put through to Beverley Tillemans at furniture who not only offered great customer service over the phone, but even offered a better price for my lazy Susan after checking and taking my order.The better price pays for my fuel to drive all the way to midland today for pickup, which was also a breeze.Hopefully we will continue to experience good service if and when the warranty is required.

I went into Harvey Norman Midland last week to get a quote for my dream bed which I am looking to lay-by later on this year. A lovely employee by the name of Lee Skinner was truly remarkable and deserves recognition.She was polite, patient, kind friendly welcoming and incredibly helpful.She went above and beyond helping me work out the perfect bed for me. She spent two hours with me on a single day chasing up information such as a colour I had seen online and the gal underneath different bed bases.She is the type of customer service representative that makes you happy to return to a store time and time again.I look forward to visiting again soon.
