Update: 12.3.23 - We still have not been refunded our RAD which was due 24 August 2022. It is now seven months since our Father left the facility. After our initial review, we have been contacted by another concerned family whose RAD was due October 2022.*****************************************************************Be very careful. It is over three months since my father left the facility after the new regime took over, and we still have not had our RAD refunded.

If you want your loved ones to be miserable and unhappy. This is the place to send them. Very poor management.I would look elsewhere.

This is am amazing facility. This small, friendly, family owned service is the best in the Shire. They go above and beyond in providing help and assistance. Excellent communication and there is always someone on the end of the line when you call with the answers you need. 10/10

Lovely staff who do so much for people's loved ones.

My aunt happily calls GBAC home because the staff take such good care of her and are genuinely interested in her and her welfare. Nothing is a problem for them. Her room has a lovely view and the garden has beautiful plants and colourful birds.As relatives we are kept well-informed of her medical issues and updated with changes to policies and practices particularly with Covid19.The family are most grateful to the wonderful people at GBAC.

Lovely friendly staff

Mother In-Law passed away in October 2022 & advice from the office administrator at Gymea Bay Aged Care was to have Probate granted THEN apply for the refund of the RAD. This was done & now we find Gymea Bay Aged Care has closed with NO notifications, emails or mail sent to advise of this situation. PHONES ARE DISCONNECTED & email addresses invalid. We have spent the last 2 days phoning every Government Department we can in an effort to find out how to contact the owners K.N.D. & Associates P/L with no success. This RAD is all of her estate & we have been notified that the Government 100% guarantee only comes in effect if the owners are declared insolvent. Can anyone help us please?
