Three Donkeys Home + Coffee Bar

Pretty upset with how my experience went when I went for breakfast. I ordered a decaf almond cap and a gluten free avo toast. They got the wrong coffee which was just a full strength cap, however I accepted it anyway and was happy to not let them waste the coffee. When the avo toast came out I was eating it only to be told 10 mins later that I accidentally ate my friends order which wasn’t gluten free. We ordered the same dish & I had no idea (it wasn’t specified / nor did we speak being in a group of 7). Worried with my digestion pain from gluten, I asked to send the dish back so I can eat the gluten free toast and they took it back and then 1 minute later they asked if I can pay for the gluten free avo toast which I was about to eat. They said that cos I had already eaten half of the normal avo toast that I needed to pay for a new meal. I declined and was pretty upset since they took my entire first meal away (which I could’ve still eaten the remaining avo/spinach/cheese from). I’m actually very disappointed in the staffs reaction to this as I had not only left hungry but they didn’t offer me my initial order which was gluten free nor did they pass be back the meal that I'd half eaten. Would not recommend going back at all.

Space and decor, shop for home very attractive.We called in one afternoon and unfortunately there was no love in our coffee making. Very expensive for 2 x oat flat whites $14.10. Their large is most Cafes regular.We drove off before tasting and if we didn't have to hassle with doubling back and parking on main road, would have liked to give them a second chance.

Lovely curated collection of up-market homeware.. worth a longer browse if you are just passing through to the town centre.

Great homewares, great coffee, and the chocolate/hazelnut/caramel slice is next level. However this five star review comes with a warning: If you order two desserts, you WILL be judged!!

I love this place! Always a friendly welcome and lots of wares to fawn over. Great stop for gifts and they support local artisans which is a big plus .

Jo has made this space an absolute treasure! Her taste in homewares and linens is immaculate. She has an amazing eye for detail and really gets to know her customers and what they like. It's my favourite place to shop on the Central Coast - I'm always bound to find something for myself or a beautiful gift for a loved one!
