Just what you need, great location, fair amount of machines. Vending machine where you can get change and washing detergent. Cute little cafe next door where u can grab a coffee or meal while u wait. Lovely owners that are super helpful!

Went here this afternoon with no success. Placed $5 in the machine and it was swallowed without it ever starting. Called the mobile number on the website, sent a text message and rang the attendance bell all to no response. Decided to change my other coins in the vending machine or 'cash exchange' to try another machine, which I assume was out of change as nothing would refund. Ending up having to buy a can of coke to receive anything for the money I put it. Left with dirty washing, $8 less in my pocket and a can of coke.

Good laundromat. Can use either dollar coins (note changer available) or pay by card over internet. Machines were clean. Took about 37 minutes on wash, and 20 minutes was enough for drying. Total spend $10 which I was happy with. You can buy powder here too, although I brought my own pods.

There is nothing Fancy about this Laundromat however it is perfectly functional and that is all you need. There are two larger washers and dryers, and about four of each in an average size. There is a dispensing machine when you can acquire washing detergent and coins for the machines. The operators of the laundromat live above so are likely available if you have any issues. You can also drop of your washing to have it washed for you at a fee.The big bonus of this laundromat is it’s location. Close to several cafes and a short walk to Beautiful Newcastle Beach. Where better to wait for you washing to be done.

This place was great. When I was visiting, I stayed at the hotel up the street. I dropped off my laundry and picked it up the next day. It was even folded. Great price for a great service.

Mandy at Uptown Laundry was incredibly prompt and helpful! The price was so reasonable and she did such a great job with our curtains. Can't recommend Uptown Laundry enough for their service and pricing!
