Fix-A-Door

10/10 - I've pondered how to fix this door for a year. I called Fix-A-Door on Tuesday, they attended and fixed the door on Wednesday. They arrived when they said they would, the two guys were helpful, knowledgable and happy. The door slides like a dream. I highly recommend Fix-A -Door.

The job was for a large sliding glass door and 3 double hung windows. All now operate like new. Highly recommend Fix-A-Door and Wayne n Ryan. On time, friendly professional manner. They clearly explained the problems and how to repair. They worked cleanly, efficiently and well within our budget. We are highly impressed and will definitely be using their services as needed in the future.

Had the boys in a few days ago for our screen doors. The whole process was smooth and quick from the phone call to the end product. I was informed at all times, I appreciate the quality service.

From the initial telephone contact with Cheryl who guided me through understanding what they needed to know, and then an appointment with their service technicians within a week, we were impressed.The two technicians absolutely knew what they were doing, were professional and friendly and gave us advice on care and upkeep. We are very happy with what Fix A Door for us, our house is over 50 years old with the original sliding glass doors and security screen doors into our bedrooms. We have lived there for 29 years and the sliding glass doors have never been very good. We have had people out to look at them and they would not touch them. We were advised to contact Fix-A-Door and they were fabulous. They were on time, very courteous and they also advised us what was needed and now the sliding glass doors and screen doors and kitchen window are great and open and close with ease. Couldn’t have been better! The lady who took my call really knew what my problem was - she was an expert. She quickly organised a suitable date/time and told me the cost of the job.Gary and James, the repairmen, turned up on time, were friendly and efficient, clean and tidy and knocked the job over quickly.What more could I ask?

The Service Technicians were courteous and presented very professionally. They were in the time slot that their Service Manager had stipulated they would arrive on site.After inspecting the fibre glass mesh sliding doors they fixed the nature of the repairs and the price to repair.The pricing was in the guidelines as previously quoted by their Service Manager.The refurbishment of the fibre screen mesh was made to look deceptively simple by very experienced tradesmen.By using modified saw horses with well covered support braces to minimise damage to painted surfaces of the door made the task that much easier.In the company's service van was a large selection of rollers, locks, hinges, tools and tooling with everything having a designated place and or support.Roller replacement with the right tooling was made to look deceptively easy.Upper and lower tracks were cleaned and lubricated.The internal security barrel bolts of the main doors were reaffixed as required and lubricated as were door hinges.Prior to installing the actual sliding fly screen doors lubricant was applied to all rollers.The net result was that both sliding doors only need minimum force of little finger to open after final adjustment of doors to be centered and true in the vertical plane.All in all a very professional and excellent job of high standard.

Was such a good experience to deal with this company! We initially spoke with Cheryl, who advised us with what we needed, gave us a quote and scheduled us in. Wayne and Ryan installed new fly screens to window and doors, fitted new window locks, replaced rollers on our sliding doors, and new runner for our wardrobe. The guys were such good tradesman, advising what we needed and how to maintain everything for the future. Could not compliment them enough on there professionalism and workmanship. Don't Moan, Pick up the phone, Love it. I put up with dragging my windows open and closed for 8 years. I should have called years ago, easy phone call, booked in the job, James was early to his appointment, easy going, straight into the job, inspected what windows needed doing and I was comfortable leaving them to fix the windows. Brilliant job and I highly recommend them.
