We go there for lunch and walks with our dog, nice breeze near the water. Great watching ships come into port. The council has just planted more Norfolk Pines there so will be more shade in future.

New Playground just opened, all new equipment, activities for all ages, flying fox, climbing tunnel with slides, swings & rope swing. Covered BBQ area & plenty of grassed areas for a picnic, located right at the Ferry Terminal with amenities close by. Skate park attached.

Got to be one of the best parks around, flying fox, giant skide, skate park, sand pit area & so many other various pieces of play equipment. It wasn't suitable for our toddler but it was still great to walk around and watch the bigger kids playing and watching the boats/ferry go past.

Great family spot. Interesting play equipment and fun sand play. Good skate park accessible to little ones. Toilet and cafe nearby, easy parking. Also easy access to the ferry for a short ride across to Newcastle City and connect with the light rail for a full day out.

Gorgeous park with a fantastic playground! I've given a more detailed review of the playground in the listing for the playground specifically.Public toilets, ferry terminal, little cafe, smoke parking and heaps of green space.

New playground is sensational. Excellent facilities, although already in need of repairs after one weeks use. Currently very crowded. Parking is a huge issue as the park is adjacent to the ferry wharf. Leave the shiny SUV at home, and catch the ferry.

One of the best kids parks!Recently upgraded with flying fox, sand buckets, giant rope swings, 3 story twisty slide, skate park and more.Catch the ferry and walk 2min to the park. Cafe right there, toilet block and a pub across the way of you need.
