Omni Recruit (Gold Coast)

It's been great working with omnirecruit except the last couple of Cowboys home games when I didn't get to work

Working hospitality through Omnirecruit has been a blast. So many exciting events in amazing venues. The variety of roles available means i've been able to increase my skillset therefore enhancing my resume and appeal to potential employers. Omnirecruit keeps me updated about upcoming shifts available and sends reminders before each shift with all required info attached ensuring all staff are well prepared for their roles. The reputation of Omnirecruit and all it's employees brings more new venues and continued shifts on offer from all the venues on their rosters. really good place to work and the people are so chill. we had so much leftover food and we were allowed to eat it all instead of throw it. such a good chance for people on visas as well

I enjoyed my shift. It was good.

I had my first shift at the broncos and dolphins game at Suncorp, and although I loved it. I got thrown in a bar without directions on what to do I eventually got a hang of it but would’ve loved having someone introduce me a bit to the environment. I would love more shifts with Omni recruit

Unfortunately I have had a very unpleasant experience with Omni recruit. First of all, they placed me into a warehouse environment where employees were smoking cigarettes on gas forklifts, forklifts left unattended with tynes up at head height and a boss that swears and yells at his 10 employees. What I am not happy about are the multiple emails I have sent Omni recruit to help resolve my issue in not being paid by the company they placed me into. I still haven’t received any money or even an email back from Omni stating whether they can help me or not. Roxanne Gibson if you could please email me back and let me know if I am going to get paid for the work I have done, that would be much appreciated.

The venues that I’ve worked at have been great, also the staff and management are very friendly.
