Flourish Babysitting

Brock looked after our kids at a wedding recently and he was amazing - he built a rapport with our kids and followed through even at times when they were tired and leaning into mum and dad - he even put our little boy to sleep with a story in the other room! We will use him again & would highly recommend.

I've been one of the educators of Flourish babysitting for the last year and couldn't be more happy and comfortable working for a team. Brock is always there to listen if it's any questions or issue, he's a leader. And on top of that, the team is nice and friendly, we catch up several times during the year.Brock looks after his team, and the families I've been working for are lovely.And it's so easy to apply for jobs, Brock makes it easier.

Before Flourish Babysitting - I’d never had experience with nannying, but I knew our family really needed the extra helping hand. I received lots of skepticism from other mothers who told me to not get my hopes too high. I signed myself up to FB groups and nanny websites, but I hesitated to trial anyone who was interested - they seemed qualified but they didn’t seem ‘right’.I couldn’t be happier that I went through Flourish because we found our dream nanny (Joni) through Brock. The communication and expectations are set upfront and clear, and Brock’s very open to listening to my needs/worries/ramble. Being someone who’s never had experience I would’ve had a lot of anxiety starting those conversations upfront myself.I know this may sound like a funny perspective (because how can we live without coffee)… But I’d rather buy less coffees and clothes, and spend a little more on the BEST nanny experience my children can have - and I’d say if you went through Flourish - that’s what you’ll be getting. AND if you’re the luckiest person on earth, you might meet Joni :)

Immediately when we first met Trish, we both connected with her calming energy - just a lovely soul. It has taken many years to get to a place where we thought we could trust someone else to look after our kids (outside of family). Brock at Flourish has been professional and responsive from the outset helping us to get set up with Trish. We have felt very confident and assured leaving our kids with her - she comes with many years of experience and is just a total pro at this. We're now able to have kid-free, couple time - THAT is amazing.

We used Deb from Flourish Babysitting this past weekend and she was fantastic at looking after our 15 month old and did the whole evening/bedtime routine with ease. She kept us updated throughout the night so we were able to relax and enjoy the wedding we were attending, knowing our daughter was in such great hands!The communication before and after the evening was also very easy and Brock was friendly and easily contactable. I definitely recommend Flourish and will use them again in future.

Brock and Farida are awesome. We had them looking after 7 little guests at our wedding recently. Brock was great to deal with from the start. He was professional and accommodating. We are so grateful that they were willing to travel outside of their service areas to help. All the children loves them and had so much fun. I highly recommend Brock and his team for any babysitting services.

We recently needed a babysitter as family were unavailable to help for the event we had on. After a google search and having no idea where or who to turn too. I found Flourish Babysitting and was incredibly impressed by the professional web page and felt reassured sending the initial email after reading the credentials held by all staff. Brock made a follow up phone call and helped with the inital booking. He was a complete professional. On arrival he put us at ease and engaged with each child in such a caring and thoughtful manner. He made the night fun for the children and we are grateful for his time and help. Thank you!

Brock looked after a 2 year old who hasn’t had been babysat before. He was extremely kind, compassionate, resilient and understanding. In light of the situation, he tenderly supported both mum and the daughter. He came with a wonderful basket of engaging goodies for play and helped with settling her to fall asleep. Brock’s administration prior to the day was wonderful.

Brock wonderfully comforted and engaged with a 2 year old during a night time transition. He went above and beyond in making her feel secure and safe. He was very approachable, send updates to Mum thoughout the event as per instruction. He was very kind and generous with his time.

Brock was so incredibly helpful finding us a sitter very last minute when our sitter cancelled. Our babysitter was just wonderful and so great with the kids. We had a great experience and couldn't recommend Flourish higher!
