We are weekly regulars here. I always have the 400g Rib Eye on the Bone. It's always good but Chef Poppy cooks it THE BEST! I'm always happy when I walk in and see Chef Poppy in the kitchen. My dining companions tell me the Bao Buns, Schnitzels and Barramundi are also tasty. Wish they offered the occasional Soup or Pasta of the Day.

Racehorse Hotel
The Racehorse Hotel is open seven days a week and offers consistently good food. There is also a great area for the kids and a video link to help families keep an eye on them. We ordered the seniors steak, brisket burger, parmi, cheeseburger and chicken burger. All the food was delicious and the staff managed to fit us in even without a booking.

It was okay, we were the for a private function, food was good, drink service was great.Was told that our child couldn't stay till the function was over which was upsetting, this was briefly fixed as we were on the private functions tour bus and couldn't do anything till it was finished.

We ordered 200 and 250 G steaks. What we received were very small steak pieces, less than 100g each - such a small portion. Not what was described on the menu and not what we paid for. So disappointing. It was cooked to perfection but a few more mouthfuls would have been appreciated. Take your scales and weigh what is served.

Racehorse Hotel
Been to the Racehorse a few times now and am always impressed. Staff are friendly, there's great variety on the menu, and meals and drinks are all very well-priced. I also love being able to sit in the dining room and see all the action going on in the kitchen.
