BIG W Brookside

Made a click and collect order online for less than 10 items which I checked were all in stock at this location, yet I never received an email to say my order was ready and when I got to the store 6 hours after purchase, my order still hadn't been completed! I then had to wait a further 15 minutes while it was being picked. Staff were very apologetic and polite but in this case very disorganised. So 2 ⭐ hope my next experience is a better one.

This review is based on my own personal experience Big W the other day I’m disappointed and disgusted.Ask your staff why was a report to police done against myself a normal average day shopper with my wife buying presents and Christmas gifts we spent over $500 in your store.due to myself only walking out of your store three times one I walked my wife in I walked out sat in the car and had a smoke and made several phone calls while my wife shopped I then walked back in to find her it was on the way out just as she had walked out I was following her I was stopped by QPS I’m never shopping in your store ever again nor am I spending any money on your other stores I will be sending the CEO email as why harass your own shoppers and potentially new ones as I had never been in the store before. YesWell you just lost my whole familyHappens to me again I will return all items back to any shop.BIG W brookside I give you ⭐️

So few big w around these days. Great product range and prices! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Always shop at Brookside. And it's always good. Woolworths is good there. I get my wool at the cheap shop. Made heaps of blankets over the years. Am making a red,black and yellow one next,for a friend. Aboriginal. So all round a good experience.

Not as cheap as Kmart, but a lot of the clothes are cotton, rather than synthetic, which is great. Unfortunately it closes at 6pm, rather than 9.00, except Thursdays.

Great selections and good customer service. Came in today looking for ink for my printer and didn’t really know what to look for but team member Heather was able to find what ink was compatible with my printer. Came back home, and it’s a perfect fit! Thanks guys!!!!

I find specific items difficult to locate in this store. Staff have directed me back to the same areas with no luck. Other times things showing as in stock online have been sold out instore. Perhaps more specific signage for homewares would help me? For whatever reason I find this store's layout frustrating but not others...

Soooo much easier to find what you need here compared to the new concept stores. Everything at this one flows perfectly and hasn't been turned upside down for the need to modernise" the floor plan. The older lady who greets customers is a gem

Everything you need at reasonably cheap prices! Friendly & efficient service provided in a clean & spacious environment! Well presented! Staff ready to help! The potting mix is only $5.00 a bag! I recently bought a Contempo brand vacuum cleaner for $48.00! It's bagless & it has excellent suction! I'm very happy with the purchase! Big W sells affordable quality products. My boyfriend bought a strapless bra for me! I accidentally took the tags off before I tried it on! It was not the right size! I returned it without the tags & I couldn't exchange it! The next day I returned with the tags & exchanged it for the next size up! Thank you Big W! I really hope & pray this store isn't one of the many stores that are closing throughout Queensland!As you enter the store the security attendant can usually inform you where to locate the items you are looking for! Laybuy is over 10 weeks & for pensioners its 12 weeks! On the push bikes its an extra &16 to have it assembled on Tuesdays only! Pay on the day!

Thank you to Carolyn at the returns desk and I think it was Jessica at the front registers who helped me this morning with a return. Heavily pregnant with a toddler. Trying to return a pool was no easy task and they were both wonderful!
