I have been going to this salon - not as a regular client but when we I need a hair cut and Stefan was booked.I don’t mind this salon but I do feel it needs improvement . I asked for a wolf cut tofay and the girl said she will just have a look online to make sure or the different styles ??? Alarm bells ….. anywho - I got the cut down and I love it- I guess my mind had a different image tho . One thing I have noticed when I do go to this place is that the wall beside the washing basisns has hair dye splatter on it - whileI do understand this can happen it seems like there is more every time I go. Also - I was at the salon at 9am without an appointment so I am very grateful they could help me but they had a Client whom they saw as he had an appointment which was fine. After he left - his hair / cut hair was still there when I left at 10.20 am .Staff were walking through it and customers too .besides those things - I like my hairCut and the girls were lovely .

I have been going to S&S Hair for the last 2 1/2 years, having the same hairdresser doing my hair. This time around, because I was only having a wash & blow dry & my usual hairdresser was away. I ended up with a 2nd year apprentice to wash & was blow drying my hair. It never crossed my mind that she had no idea what she was doing. When she was drying my hair, she severely burnt my hair with the dryer. You would think she should have more experience being a 2nd year apprentice. The young girl did not even apologise. She walked away when she realised what she had done and spoke to a senior hairdresser. She never came back. She let the senior hairdresser deal with it. I was absolutely horrified! One thing, at least I didn't have to pay for her incompetent mistake.

Great service, I’m very happy with how my hair turned out and the transformation. I had a woman by the name kirstyn that cut my hair and the service provided by Lilli was outstanding would highly recommend!

Worst experience in a salon ever! Booked a 12.30 appointment for a half head of foils package, I called at 8.30 to confirm my appointment time, arrived 5 minutes early and was seated and told someone will be with me shortly. At 12.50 I was told “I’ll start you soon just need to do a quick haircut” on a walk in customer who arrived after me! Left sitting in a chair for over half an hour past my appointment time. At 1pm I got up and left after not having any service started. They do not value your time at all!!

Lovely staff and always secretly jealous of their gorgeous hair. Discussed future colouring options without planning on making a purchase with one of the girls who was more than happy to help with my enquiries, ended up buying a new anti-dandruff which worked wonders and has left me feeling great once again compared to supermarket brands.

Absolutely horrible experience, they just had to refresh the colour and cover the roots, I didn’t even ask for a new colour they changed my hair from light brown to extremely dark brown, and then instead of being apologetic kept on telling me that the colour would fade away in a few washes when it’s entirely a different colour tone. Then wanted to give me a 25 dollar concession for absolutely ruining my hair just before my sons birthday.

My hair dresser clearly didn't know how to cut curly hair. After shampooing twice and washing out the conditioner, they then proceeded to brush my hair? Making it flat, somewhat straight and nothing like my natural hair is. How is cutting it like this supposed to be right? When it dries it bounces back into curls! So when my hair dried, not only was my fringe crooked, my side pieces by my ears were wonky and uneven. STOP CUTTING CURLY HAIR LIKE STRAIGHT HAIR. Absolutely devastated as I look like a fluffy mess now. Don't bother if you have curly hair. Don't bother if you don't like having 2+ hair dresser changes. Don't bother if you wait upwards of an hour (not including cut), all for a short hair cut! All your staff need training in cutting curly hair. $68 to be left looking and feeling ridiculous!
