Rude and lazy staff.. min 1 to 1.5 hours waiting even if there is nonone waiting. They get irritated if you ask how much longer and sit at the back doing nothing but talk.

I've visited the pathology for blood test. The worst and rudest staff ever. Both the pathologists were very disrespectful towards all the patients. I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit and I would never visit again. Worst of the worst experience.

This was the most positive experience, despite the anticipated discomfort of a blood test. I walked straight in and was seen almost immediately (no booking) and the blood test didn't hurt at all which was incredible. My 5 year old also had to have bloods taken and was (understandably) distressed. Extra staff came in to help me hold him and to reassure him. I live 35 minutes away but would make the trip to come back here for future tests.

Lady at the reception was rather impolite and rude. I made a mistake by not making a booking beforehand. So I thought she would give me a recommendation of the next steps I should take, but she didn’t bother explaining. She would initially said “no we don’t do that here” and that was it, with a unfriendly tone and it seemed like she just expected me to leave right there and then. I had to prompt questions to get her to tell me on what to do.Also another thing, when she first asked me the purpose of the testing, I had to look at my referral letter just to double confirm. Then she asked again impatiently with a louder voice just so that I reply quickly.Lady, you’re not doing a great job at customer service. You should definitely not treat your patients like this, especially when they’re not feeling well/not in their greatest mood of being tested.Recommend patients like myself to check other DHM centers to save your time and sanity.

Reception lady, if you are upset about your work, you can go home. Please do not have a bad and low-quality attitude towards certain patients. Your job is to provide assistance and care for the patients. The patients feel that when they enter your work place Stress and helplessness.

Really disappointed with the service provided by the receptionist lady. I has been awaiting here for my test result more than 1 hour. From my observation, this lady was only greeting with Aussie customers with friendly service and smile. But when the Asian or just say Chinese customers stopped by, she did not reply any greeting when the customers said Good morning,How are you....It doesn’t happen just once or twice, it always happen! No comment for her. Just wanna to say if you think you are not happy to provide service for Chinese customers, plz request to work at other locations rather than working at a half of residents are Chinese suburb!For me I wouldn’t come to this pathology seeing her again!

I was served promptly and politely by reception, but the male worker who did the blood collection was very terse in his demeanour and equally abrasive in his treatment. He literally shoved a pillow in my lap, roughly strapped the tourniquet around my arm and jabbed the needle in abruptly, without warning. When I reacted to the sharp jab, he admonished me by demanding that I 'stay still'. I have had regular blood tests with this service over the last 10 years at least and apart from two encounters with this same man, have only ever had congenial, careful and competent workers. I have generally found the experience to be easy and painless. I won’t be using this particular service in Hurstville again and would certainly not recommend it to others.

I came in with the request from the different pathology group, after having needed to wait at the other place for over half an hour without even being acknowledged, but DHM happily accepted the other pathology request and i was seen to in less than 10 minutes. I barely felt anything, just a tiny scratch. I really dislike needless so i was very pleased.

Male worker who came to reception when I entered the office (same man who did my tests) was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in the medical field. He was impatient, rude and gave me blatantly false information about 2 different things which a phone call with DHM head office confirmed what he had told me was incorrect. It was as if he couldn’t be bothered answering my enquires properly or he straight up did not know basic details that somebody employed by DHM should know. Very rough and careless when completing the test, the complete opposite of what you would like in somebody supplying any form of medical treatment. Avoid this practise at all costs.
