Pearl Light Palace
The roast duck was the most delicious we have had for years. Friendly, hospitable owner and very reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere. Recommended to us by some locals.

Absolutely terrible, made an order for pick up, was told 30 mins, cool no worries after an hour waiting in their depressing foyer I cut my loses and went else where. Great place if you’re wanting to kill time and yourself.

Fantastic Food and Service ! After ringing up and speaking to a very helpful and friendly Macie, was great to also be greeted with a smile and quickly taken care of as I arrived to collect my takeaway order ! Thanks again Macie and staff

Great food and good people. We have been to the restaurant only a few times as we don't like to travel at night, but have had take-away many times and have had Helen and Gary cater several times for Chinese delegations - always rave reviews. Helen always marks the 'hot ' dishesfor the Chinese guests, and the others for the rest of us. The whole duck is a favourite, though all dishes are tasty. Geoff & Barb Brown

Looks are deceiving! it looks small on the outside but when you go upstairs the whole restaurant is big and roomy! Lovely old fashioned place. The service was good a little slow but was friendly and great food. I prefer to choose this one also for takeaway too.

Waited to be spoken to, to be seated. In the end asked the lady behind bar about a table, then had to flag down a waitress to be served. Short staffed apparently so that couldn't be helped. Entree for both my husband and I was average. Mains where tasty and cooked as they should.

I do love this place. It's still delicious and consistent and the staff are always lovely. Seems a really nice family run business.
