What an amazing craftsman Dan is. We were looking for a barndoor to close off a hallway. I scoured the internet and social media and really struggled to find anything that didn't look mass produced. I came across Dan's website, and was immediately struck by how beautiful the work was. I sent him an email with what I had in mind, and within a day he had got back to me with a mock up of how it would look. He was great to deal with on the phone, and it was ordered the next day. The bushfires stuffed up some timing, so he really kindly offered to deliver the door personally up to my house and install it, free of charge. As he installed it and we had a bit of a chat, I was so impressed with how much care he'd put into building the door. He also told me that the door had been recycled from the balustrades of a Wollongong factory, which really enriched the character and story of the piece. So very highly recommend Dan. In the Ikea-age of mass-produced furniture, it is so awesome to see a true craftsman making some amazing furniture!

I highly recommend Daniel and Timber Trading co. They created a piece of art in the form of a custom barn door for my house. They took the time to discuss the design and tailor it to the colour / wood scheme for the house. Super affordable for this quality work.
