A delicious chocolatier and cafe in the heart of a quaint little village called Stirling. We’re so glad we stopped by and had the most delicious hot chocolates. The service was very friendly and the food and drink options were great for a sweet tooth!Highly recommend a stop here if you need a chocolate hit.

A highlight of the Adelaide Hills. Red Cacao is a warm, inviting and friendly cafe. Staff were amongst the friendliest I've come across, full of helpful suggestions. The food is delicious, quick and reasonably priced given the high-end chocolate they use. The vegan waffles were particularly good. All in all, Red Cacao is worth the visit of you're passing through the hills.

This small chocolatier offers a far more greater experience than any other. The people are super lovely, I think one of the best in Adelaide! I went there to buy a box of ganache and truffles and the lady serving me has recommended such amazing selections! She was very patient as she explains the chocolates to me. It was a bit but I never felt like they were rushing me.The chocolates are nice too. I just hope they had like a QR code people could scan to know the flavours but other than that they were amazing!I’ll definitely comeback for a brunch. There are seats outside with umbrellas for those who want to hangout with their pets.

This is my favorite chocolate shop in Adelaide! It has an amazing selection of chocolates and has a cafe inside so you can browse or sit and enjoy a coffee and something sweet. Its also a great date spot for Fridays when they have their Dessert Bar Night, try to book in advance!

Always enjoy coming to the Red Cacao, and autumn / Easter time is my favourite time to visit .Lots of lovely chocolate options, and you can smell the wonderful aroma wafting down the laneway.Service today was so incredibly friendly and no question was too trivial to answer. Table water was bought , and the server answered everything with a smile . Some samples of cake were bought as well , but when I mentioned I was gluten intolerant, she bought me some chocolate covered popcorn to try instead .I had an almond latte , which is my usual choice , and my friend had his soy mocha , which he raved about . The coffee was both our favourite type , dark roasted and smooth , which apparently was called Ethiopian Sidamo , and toasted locally at the warehouse at Mt Barker .I had a date and carrot loaf , with coconut yoghurt and poached pears . The loaf was full of flavour , lovely and nutty , with lots of spice . It paired well with the poached pears , and was finished well with the creaminess of the yogurt , and the citrus sauce . I wouldn’t have minded just a bowl of those poached pears - they were beautifully done , obviously seasonal . ( Maybe with some chocolate fondue ?)As well as the menu , there are cakes and macaroons in the cabinet and a nice array of gluten free options, which is appreciated. The shop is a cave of beautifully crafted chocolate- they take pride in what they do and it shows . Autumn really is chocolate weather , there’s something about the coolness in the air that makes you crave the sugary goodness of the world’s favourite bean . Definitely a plus for the Australian chocolate scene- puts Adelaide on the map !
