Way back in 1994 I replaced 4 existing speakers in two Jansen closed / vented speaker boxes with Lorantz. The result was fantastic. The boxes worked well when used either for Guitar or bass. Not often one gets such quality and value and versatility.

Have some Lorantz 15 inch letterbox Style subs and 12 inch mid highs for a DJ / PA business. If you're handy with timber and hand or power tools and can build a few boxe, these things will give you amazing bang for your buck. We run them hard for hours on end in so pretty big venues, and had no issues at all. Bass is tight. Mids and highs are really clean and penetrating without being harsh. Vocals sound very natural. Im a hifi audiofile, so really fussy about sound quality. And the bonus is they are really nice people to deal with, and REALLY know their stuff.

I bought a quartet of the Lorantz 10 30 W guitar speakers (AC257P30-MI) in 2022.I've played a lot of amps with a wide variety of speakers and these things simply sound incredible. I have never been so happy with a guitar rig as I am now. I would rate them higher than any Celestion at any price.Michael and Hazel were also super helpful. Not often you can correspond directly with the designer of your speakers. Brilliant service."
