Good idea but need more fencing so native wildlife don't stray into housing areas. Seems be a lot non native trees planted by residents on outside fences to to block view

Great place for a stroll with or without a pet, good birdlife and abundance of kangaroos. Nice habitat corridors and links incorporating the Plenty River.

As wetlands go this is only a tiny one. Don't let that fool you though, the variety of birdlife is incredible. We go there about an hour before sunset.

A really great walking track around a few lakes. Also a gorgeous place to watch the sunset! Just gotta watch out for kangaroos.

Wide solid pathways get you around with seating along the way. Lot's of bird and frog noises as you go. Both a wetland park and wide open well kept grass park. Impressive playground. Note that as at Sept 2017 there eas a lot of major construction work underway which impacted, I would wait for it to be completed if your considering a one off visit.
