Orchard Early Learning Centre Kirrawee

My son started since one year old three years ago. He loves the centre. They have a very big outdoor area with gardens and some chickens. Educators are very friendly and kind too. They did a good job to keep the centre running during the covid period. And we are well communicated when the centre is impacted due to positive cases. (Things happen) Last but not least, food provided to the kids are cooked fresh and very delicious (i tried some in the centre event and farther's day event). My kid loves centre's food.

I cannot speak highly enough of Only About Orchard Early Learning Centre and management. Our son has been attending this beautiful, modern centre since he was just 18 months old, and we are incredibly grateful for the fun, educational, and nurturing environment that the team provides. Raquel, the new director is incredibly genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing. It's sad that we need to leave this place due to our financial situation. Overall, we have been extremely impressed would highly recommend it to any parents looking for an outstanding childcare provider. Thank you to the entire team for all that you do!

Orchard has been a home away from home for our little ones. We completely trust the directors and the educators. We actually really struggled during Covid with our jobs and this company supported us in ways you wouldn’t imagine. They even sent us fruit and meat boxes of food from their food suppliers to our home to help us out!!. They were a shoulder to cry on, they gave advice and direction and they loved our kids all the way through. We are forever grateful of this experience. There really is no other Centre quite like it in the Shire. I have referred my sister and my nephew and they are also very happy with the service and the Centre too.Highly recommend this centre if you looking for a wonderful experience and great support for your family and your children.Millie & Lewy

Orchard are one of the most unprofessional organisations I have ever dealt with.We were very impressed with the centre when it first opened in 2018 but it has spiraled downhill over the years to be a place we barely recognise.Their high turn over of staff resulted in both our children being extremely unsettled as they would form bonds with lovely educators who would then leave. The feedback we got from the educators was this was down to toxic management. All the educators we have dealt with are lovely and it makes me feel really sad that they aren’t valued by their employer.Communication between the centre and families was abysmal despite having given feedback on numerous occasions that the app they were using is unreliable. One noteworthy experience was when the centre was closed due to covid, we found out as we tried to drop our children off in the morning, the notification came through later in the day.When we raised numerous instances of our child being targeted by a violent bully, management were reluctant do to anything until multiple parents complained about the same child.More than one occasion they billed us more than they should have because they failed to provide Centrelink with the attendance details, they tried to blame Centrelink however we followed up with them and it was definitely Orchards fault.We pulled both our children out with my eldest starting school, they took over four weeks to refund our deposit stating that their policy was “within four weeks”, this was not noted in any of the actual policies available and something we were told AFTER giving notice our children were leaving.

We did a tour on monday morning with my twin toddlers excited it was going to wow factor in childcare. It was the biggest let down. The centre is much smaller then it looks in pictures & videos. Over crowded. Outdoor play area is very small. The director rushed the tour all over in 5min. I seen a little girl crying hysterically in the corner with no educators comforting her until she seen us walking near & still just stood there. I was very disappointed & the enrollment team never even called up after the tour for my feedback. Its big NO from me

Every since the first phone call and first visit, the staff and educators have been warm, caring and supportive. My son has adored coming to this centre and has made many wonderful friends and has grown, developed and been nurtured by the fantastic staff. During COVID the centre was professional and always communicated to parents the process and new changes are they were informed themselves so I never felt as though I need to chase information or worry about safety for my son.The hours are nice and long so very handy for working parents, especially those that need to commute.The centre has a wonderful kitchen and great meals for the children which encourages even the most fussy of eaters plus a great outdoor area which is a huge highlight for us!We love Orchard!!!

The staff at Orchard have been amazing. The team are caring and engaging, while the centre itself provides lots of different areas for kids to explore and learn what interests them. The team are supportive of the kids and parents, and are always finding ways to improve the experience and learning opportunities for the kids. Dropping off your child at any daycare is always hard, but you know they’re in great hands here.

The centre is beautiful with a huge outdoor space, amazing resources and toys for the kids and the food is like a gourmet restaurant. As parents we have sampled the food at various events and parent nights. Its so good our kids love it! We found that management and the directors have always been very professional and respectful and willing to go the extra mile for us. They alerted us to support for one of our children’s speech delays and supported us through the whole process which was quite emotional and daunting. The strategies the team put in place made HUGE improvements to our son’s language. We will be forever grateful to Orchard Kirrawee. thank you.

We have two children going to Orchard for the last 18 months, and I am really happy they are in such good hands. The open place spaces, good food and caring staff are all great, and we really appreciate the extra lengths they go do to educate the kids and give them life experiences from a young age, things like visits from experts with animals and nature, yoga classes and dancing. The staff really take the role of educators seriously

My daughter loved going there. Always had a smile when I picked her up. All the educators and staff are extremely caring and understanding. They made her feel special and she would always talk about them in a positive way.
