Granite Transformations

Joseph and his team transformed my kitchen beyond expectation. They went the extra mile and did a superb job giving me high end cupboards at such an affordable price. The finished product is 'perfect' as they paid attention to detail in building the cupboards and granite bench top.I cannot praise them enough or recommend them more highly.

Hi all. If you want superb service, great help, and awesome after service, along with a beautifully made kitchen using top end materials, then read on!It's been at least 2.4 years since I chose Joe and his business Granite Transformations, Berkeley Vale, NSW, to do a whole new kitchen in my home. Joe helped me with design, though I knew pretty much what I wanted and showing me the different types of cupboards we could get. We couldn't afford the high end cupboards (were looking at laminex) until my wonderful mother-in-law gave us the money to buy them. Truly, if you can do it, get the top of the line cupboards/drawers because they are designed for water areas like a kitchen is and they are still shiny, like new and so easy to keep clean! No bubbling, even though steam rises regularly at least twice a day from my stove top kettle. The type I got is better than 2 pac, just can't remember what it''s called.The kitchen was superbly built in November, the 2 cabinet makers from England who installed it were very sweet and did a great job. They cleaned up behind themselves well, leaving my yard and home as good as they found it. There was a crack in the bench top right at the wall, but they left it in because the splash back was going to cover it. I was OK with that.About 3 months later after installation, I noticed a long hair next to my stove. I thought I'd removed it. Months later, like July, I finally saw it again (my bread board sat there), and realized it was a long, thin crack! You could get your fingernail and scrape across the crack to feel a depression.I finally contacted Joe to let him know, he came and looked and was blown away. Incredibly just a day or two later, the NSW Manager came by to see Joe on business and Joe showed him the crack, from photos he'd taken, and they gave me this offer. Firstly that, though very unusual and rare, but cracks can happen in granite, like what had happened in mine.1) I could get a new bench top at no cost.2) I could leave the crack and get a splash back done for nothing in granite.3) I could get $2000 odd dollars back.After speaking with my mum, mum-in-law, and coworker, they said I'd regret it if I didn't get the bench re-done. So I went with 1).Superb job again. This was done around August/September, I think, 9 months after installation! Fantastic service, can't get any better than that.I will say though, the downside were the 2 plumbers, that Joe contracted. They were absolutely hopeless. One had forgotten to turn off the gas before he took it apart and gas was pouring into the kitchen. He tried to blame us, the idiot, for his own stupidity. The dark haired bloke, didn't do a very good job with the sink, dishwasher business. But he did come back to fix a water leak but when I told him the gas was crazy on the wok burner, he took my Smeg booklet, said he'd be back to fix the gas, and of course I never saw him again did I.Hopefully Joe has employed better plumbers, but Joe himself, the kitchen planner/designer, the 2 cabinetmakers Joe employed were superb, polite, funny, kind, knew their stuff and did an awesome job of my kitchen. I love it so much, and it was installed in just 2 days. TWO DAYS!!!!!! I've heard nightmare stories about kitchens taking weeks to get installed. Not these guys!I love the glitter, diamond dazzle when the sun hits my white bench top as well as at night when at certain angles, you can see it glittering away. I got the high end glossy white drawers and top cupboards and it's so easy to keep clean, yes even with dogs, food spills and teenage children and husbands sticking their great dirty paws all over the cupboards, leaving smudge finger marks. Warm clean dish cloth wipe over and bam, it's like new! Easier than cleaning the walls, trust me, lol. My kitchen still looks like a new kitchen after 2.5 years! Love it :)

A team of professional perfectionists"! Our outdated kitchen was transformed in just 3 days and a huge new butlers pantry installed in 2 days. The outcome was of amazing quality and beauty for an affordable price. We are so very happy. A big thankyou to Joe the "boss" for his positive "can do" attitude and knowledge of his product. I am so devastated. I told Joe what type of kitchen bench i wanted - he knew all too well i wanted it to be undermounted, however, i made the mistake of buying a sink that could be undermounted or overmounted and when i got home from work, it was installed overmounted. He knew i didn't want that and yet i paid him, regretfully. Why did i rush to pay someone for something i didn't want. He was sneaky and deceitful in his dealings with me- . I paid $4,300 for just the kitchen bench and i hate it. The one thing i went all out on in this house and trusted that man to deliver. Very very disappointed and only wished i didn't pay him. Who has a granite bench overmounted these days - according to him - everyone because the undermounted sinks a rift with issues.What BS.

We can not thank Joe enough for his workmanship and customer service. We originally installed our granite transformation kitchen 4 years ago but recently needed a small rectification. So great to find a business who will do quotes out of normal trading hours. I can highly recommend Joe and the team.

Thank you Joe and boys for an excellent transformation on our old kitchen. The result is amazing and the cost very reasonable indeed.Your honesty and suggestions were greatly appreciated especially in regards to not having an undermounted sink. We have seen the result on a friends kitchen, done by another company, and the awful silicon between the sink and the stone top has gone moldy after only 3 months.You are a credit to your business.

Turned a sows ear into a silk purse, I was away when they did the job and had to leave my husband in charge which can sometimes be dangerousAbsolutley thrilled with the result... feel like cooking again.. Hooray!
