I recently travelled from Launceston to Hobart return and would like to thank both drivers for their courtesy and skills, especially in view of the current roadworks situation. I would especially like to commend Heather at the Hobart Transit Centre for her friendly approach, conscientious attitude and attention to detail with bookings.

Great place to catch coach from launceston to North west coast or go south to Hobart. Has public toilets. Concessions for students elderly

Staff are really nice & helpful! They hold your bags for you & load them onto the bus. We accidentally booked the wrong drop off & the staff fixed it up for us. Bus ride went smoothly, chairs are relatively comfortable. Just a bit expensive in my opinion

Today me and my friend took the Redline bus from Devonport to Launceston, and it was the worst experience since arriving in Tasmania. Larry the busdriver was one of the rudest people I have come across in a long time. When my friend ask him if this was the 705 bus (since it didn’t clarify that on the bus) he yelled at her in a very degrading tone saying yes and asking her if she can’t read. Two people came up to my friend afterwards asking if she was okay, cause they had witnessed the exchange. We also overheard him talk to several other people in a non friendly way. No customer service what so ever and there is really no need to be so rude to your passengers just because they ask questions. Will not use redline again and will not be recommending it to anyone.

The driver on 702 bus from Hobart to Launceston, Simon was very condescending and rude. I took the 10am trip from Hobart today, I arrived around 10mins to 10. Asked the lady in the reception if I can go to the toilet quickly before I board and Simon who was still sitting in the waiting area, said I can't and said, passengers should be in the terminal at least 20minutes before departure to do things necessary before boarding or else my reservation will be given to somebody else. I asked him if it's a written rule as we did not know about it. He kept on saying that there are things that need to be done like checking in baggage that's why. He had a condescending tone while lecturing about it. Telling me like I am a child or someone stupid. His attitude is not expected of someone who should be accomodating and welcoming to paying passengers. Very disappointing. The ride from Launceston to Devonport with Tim was good. No issues.

I’ve booked a ticked from Launceston to Hobart on a 9am ish service. I realised an hour later I should have booked the 6am service and called the customer service. The lady whose name I did not note down was super friendly and within moments changed my ticked to the 6am bus. Service how it should be.When I was at the terminal in Launceston and the bus arrived I was greeted by the driver Simon who was such a warm, friendly man and it was a delight to see a person like that early in the morning. Thanks Redline - a great start to the day!

Mahliah Youd at the Launceston terminal is extremely rude, condescending and threatening, she has absolutely no buisness having contact with customers, I'm humbled to read all these other reviews saying the same thing knowing it was not just myself and my wife that was subjected to such unprofessional treatment. Why or how she is still employed is absolutely beyond me I am assuming her family owns the Busline if not then she is costing the company big $ there is a notice on bluegum advising travelers to avoid this service due to the lady at the Launceston Depo.. upon arrival at Hobart the staff were extremely caring and apologetic and said that this has been going on for years. Thumbs down Mahliah

Now owned by kinetic which is not tasmanias own redline anymore. 3 simple questions 2 to the launceston office were met with more dithering than Basil Fawlty.the one question put to merseylink again same company answered promptly and swiftly.Launceston is an absolute shambles doesnt even deserve one star rating.
