I have ordered turf from ACE over the years but the latest batch of Sir Walter Buffalo had small stones throughout and some weeds. Service and delivery was great hence the three stars but quality of turf was poor.

Wow, my trailer was loaded before I exited the office. Drove in and out in under 3 minutes. The best service I've ever received

I brought 5 tonne of 80/20 to level mine and my inlaws grass. I had a machine there to help spread but as soon as we started spreading we were finding large chunks (bigger than a tennis ball) of sand stone through out. I rang ace and they said one of the screens were broken and just to pick them out. The whole 5 tonnes is basically unusable as it is litered with 20 to 30mm sandstones chunks also not to mention the amount of clay which has now become a solid top layer not letting the rain get through.. My biggest issues is that there was no refund nor help and they new the product was defective when the sold it!

Had a problem where they dumped the soil and blocked my driveway. was supposed to be dumped at the top of drive but was near the bottom and blocking our entry as we werent going to move it for several days. They quickly sent someone out who moved it to the top.

Really average firewood. Sold as Ironbark and Hardwood mix but approx 40% is this brittle, lightweight wood that literally floats. I can break it apart with my hands it’s absolute rubbish. It smokes like hell and leaves a mother load of ash. Can understand the dirt and fact it turned up soaking wet but can’t stomach not getting what I paid for. I bought 2 tonnes and have almost gone through a quarter of it already, 2 tonnes has traditionally lasted us two seasons from Australian Firewood. Spend the extra money use Australian Firewood for a MUCH superior product.

The photo says it all - a delivery of 'pizza cut ironbark firewood' caked in mud and dirt and wet through. When we complained to Joe Vinci (co-owner), he blamed the rain and the price of petrol! He did offer to reimburse the delivery cost of $27.50 - but it's over 3 weeks now since delivery and no refund. No surprise! I should add that our experience with Ace delivery drivers over the last 3 years has been consistently rude and abusive (as reflected in other reviews here). Joe told us in our last conversation that we should go elsewhere for our firewood - great advice Joe! We strongly recommend that you look elsewhere too e.g. Four Seasons Nursery who deliver dry firewood with professional courtesy.

Staff onsite are very helpful and friendly but the service went downhill from there, paid over $400 for a load of wood which I was told would be ‘free delivery’. They rang back later to say it was a mistake and I had to pay to be delivered. Wood then arrived soaking wet and muddy. Won’t be buying from them again.

Ordered turf over phone. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Arrived on back of a Ute. Old guy on his own told me I have to help him unpack turf. After questioning this he told me this is the way they've done it for 30 years and he could do it on his own but would have to drop the turf from the Ute which he rightly stated wouldn't do it much good. When I said staff should inform customers that they have to help in a paid delivery he said I should have asked. Shame it happened that way, because everything else was fine.
