Ballina Memorial Swimming Pool & Waterslide

Arrived excited to have some fun with my son on the waterside. We were very disappointed tho after being told the slide was off limits as a school group were using it and my son was not allowed to mix with them because of covid. Was absolutely no compasion or empathy toward my son as he was obviously upset. The woman then told us as we went back and forth that he wouldn't have been allowed full stop. Changed her story. Lied. Wasn't a nice experience. Won't be returning.

Don’t even bother. Took my family here on a weekend. Staff were extremely rude and it’s over priced for what it is. The service here is disgusting. Never again. Also not to mention the staff members that were tormenting a brown snake close to people with a broom trying to get it to move on. I mean actually fully hitting this snake to try and get it away. Just a complete let down really

Attitude of older blonde lady at the front desk was absolutely disgusting we asked about water slides we were rudely told closed today due to school excursion the school kids used it for all of ten minutesMy 11 yr old daughter was hungry we asked what food were rudely told no hot food cause of the school excursion my daughter then asked what they have the older blonde lady rudely answered whatever's in the fridge have a look" there is no need for this other then her attitude and sheer (for lack of a better term) snotty-nosedness the life guards are really nice not to strict (ohh wait we didn't even see oneDo not go here let ya kids be kids and get them in the canal behind the pools they'll enjoy it more and it ain't a waste of ya hard earned coin for some down right as interesting as a box of blow flies snotty nosed thingDone by Josh Hayes on my wife's account"

Great 50mtr pool and 25m indoor heated plus play area for small children. Would stay and eat there after a swim if there were healthier food options like salads, sushi or yoghurt, muesli and berries.

This is a pretty amazing place. Lovely view of the river and lots of swimming options for all the family. Shame the price for the slides is so expensive though! Otherwise, amazing!!

Called in advance as slides were down for maintenance on the 5th, was advised they would be operational on the 7th when we visited only to discover yellow slide was still non operational.On our arrival the heated pool was closed to be cleaned leaving only the splash zone and large pool.Guess we picked a bad day to come. Overall was disappointing for the kids, they ended up not going on the slides as we intended for the visit as the queue on green was too long.

The new facilities are top quality and enjoyable to use. Neat and tidy gardens, plenty of shaded seating and the pools/slides are fun. No waiting to go down the slides even with plenty of people using them.

Impressed with this place. In and out door pools 2 fun waterslides, a toddlers water-park area with big self emptying water bucket etc, and lots of green grassy areas to lay around enjoying the sun and family atmosphere, admission prices reasonable.*P.s. BBQs are there too, for free I believe, so have lunch, or a bbq pool party. Great option!

Pool is good little nuts with the slide only one open today and a mega line. Has a chip van but you have to order at the main desk which has a dozen kids slowly picking what lollies they want
