Meki Hair

This is a damn good salon. Consistent high quality, lovely vibes and great attitudes. Been going here for about 5 years now. Aside from my hair feeling great, I really like how there's no judgement if I gave myself a trim or used some box dye.

Superb service and Friendly staff. Chris understood what I wanted right away and the cut is amazing.The dye didn't turn out as I wanted at first so they booked me back in and perfected the shade.

Great salon, friendly team led by Renee. My girls and I go there. Had my wedding hair done and girls have donated their pony tails to charity. This is also a green salon who care about the environment

I went to Meki yesterday to get my hair cut and coloured. It was a very good experience!! Maddie is super friendly and she did a fantastic job on my hair. Renee also friendly and very professional. I definitely go back next time.

The staff were friendly but I have never been so disappointed in my hair result. I hadn't dyed my hair for over 12 months, and when they dyed it darker the colour was far too red. I had specifically requested no red. They re-dyed, and as a result I have bad breakage right at the top which I find embarrassing and the colour is still not right. But, the thing that upsets me the most is that they charged me $180 for the experience.

Exceptional. We travel across town because this is the kind of salon that you want to come back to. Friendly, professional, welcoming and so damn good at what they do. Everyone walks in and out with a smile... that says it all!

Incredibly disappointing service. I have been going for three years, and honestly, I’m partially to blame as I continued to go back.I have been shunted around to over 5 hairdressers in the time I’ve been there with little to no communication from the team as to the facts that people were leaving, etc. One of the hairdressers actually suggested I wash my hair every day and also use bicarbonate to deal with a colour issue I was having. I went in next time and another hairdresser laughed at me for being so silly and doing that as it would wreck my hair after someone from your salon suggested it to me!There has been multiple occasions where I have sat and not been offered a drink or anything close to while surrounded by women who have them. The one time I did request water, it arrived beautifully presented with a lipstick mark on the rim that didn’t belong to me.The final straw was having a senior hairdresser cut layers into my hair without my consent, TWICE. One was two weeks before my wedding, where she knew all I wanted was a trim, and I walked away with layers that made it hard for me to have the hairstyle I had wanted to have. The second time the layers were once again cut into my hair without me ever asking for them, and they were so bad that they didn’t show me the back of my hair before I left, leading me to have to go to another hairdresser once I had seen what had been done to the back of my hair. I rang and left a message and did not receive a call back from the salon. I will not be going back.

Meki Hair is an amazing salon! Renee and her team are on another level. They take the time to understand what you want and create something stunning. Never have I ever felt in such good hands with my hair. An absolute team of #bossbabes
