BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) Labrador

Went in to exchange a rechargeable light that wasn’t charging correctly. Saw Lachlan at the front desk and was meet with a rude and disrespectful tone. I forgot to bring the charging cable into the shop, went and got it from the car. When I came back in I lined up but got seen by someone else. They didn’t even know it was a light, thought it was a head torch. The new person said I would have to wait for Lachlan because I spoke to him first. She helped and asked Lachlan what was wrong, Lachlan said “it supposedly doesn’t charge” in a rude tone. He was serving customers, which was fine, I waited. Lachlan finished serving customers then walked off to talk to a colleague about a bet they had running. I waited but he still didn’t come back and serve me, he kept serving new people or talking. I asked the new lady that served me if they had them in stock, because we are camping atm and need the light. They didn’t, so I got the light and left. Lachlan Didn’t help with the exchanging of the light and was the rudest and most disrespectful person I’ve been served by at a bcf. Really puts me off going to another store if this is how they act to customers.

Best place on earth great variety good staff, good sales and always have what you need at a good price

BCF wasn't very busy when I took my son down to buy some bits and pieces. The staff were very knowledgeable and they helped me to carry the heavy equipment to the register and into my car. I found the prices to be very reasonable and parking wasn't difficult either.

Very helpful staff! the team assisted me with tracking down the correct gas bottles for my new Caravan. Thankyou again !

Came in wanting gumboots for a festival and left with waist high waders at a great price and a 5 star customer service experience. Lissa and the rest of the staff were excellent and have made a stressful day a great one. Couldn’t recommend more!

Searched online for two items, checked availability. My items were apparently in stocks at Labrador. Site allowed me to place the order and pay for it with a 2 hour click and collect service.Arrived at shop as they were closing within an hour and a half and thought I could save them some effort. Was told they were about to reply by email that my items were not in stock at all, and the website was wrong. By this time, alternative retailer options were not available.Agreed to a refund, as they could not tell me when my items may arrive, but certainly not for at least three days. Staff member operating eftpos machine failed to refund my money and charged me again instead. Asked for cash as I had run out of patience for BCF. Get your act together. Do not recommend online purchasing, they don't know where their stock is or how much they have on hand.
