Therapist quoted assessment to take 1 hour and report to take 1.5 hours. After 3 hours the assessment is still yet to be complete. Also provider stated trace in service agreement but then charged travel both to and from sessions stating a 40min minimum for travel is required as well as a “non labour” fee. So in total a 1 hour session came in at $280. Provider gave no explanation as to why assessment is taking so long even though they noted client engaged well and on task each time. Would certainly not recommend. Not a client focused organisation and inexperienced clinicians working in early childhood intervention dragging out funding has been observed in our time with Chatterbox.
