Stopped for a pie and coffee, pie looked great, nice pastry and great size, unfortunately it was stone cold, and coffee was way way to hot, could only just touch it when I got nearly to blacksoil.

They make great spring rolls but they cost WAY too much. The rest of the food is ordinary. Ordered a coffee and it was half a degree offb being burnt....so WAY WAY WAY too hot. Scalded me to sip it. So hot it burned my fingers through the cup. Staff need to be be properly trained to heat milk.

The Bahn mi rolls would probably be ok if it didn’t have half a litre of soy sauce and 4 tablespoons of chilli on it. I thought I would give them another go and tried a pie. Not sure if it was old but it was really soggy and smelt like canned dog food not edible at all.

I bought a sandwich and the bread was yesterday's... At a bakery.. I had to throw it out after one bite. The croissant was probably 3 days old too.

Pies have a crust with structural integrity making them easy to eat, good flaky pastry. The fillings were good to complement the shell. Great fridge full of treats. Good looking range of salads, salad rolls and Vietnamese baps (if I remember) which I didn’t try but saw being open. Not bad coffees too. This is in the shopping complex with Woolies on left coming into town from the south.

Chunky pies that are 90% sloppy mince. Sausage rolls are very average like the pasties.Using cheap ingredients no doubt.Very disappointing at best.

I found the food at the Fernvale Bakehouse and Patisserie to be exceptional. The young staff that work at the front counter are very friendly. The food is very well priced. The display cabinets are well prepared and the food is very fresh. I was very impressed with the bakery opening during the floods and also offering free breakfasts to the SES workers. Very community minded and a great new addition to the Fernvale community.

Spoiled for choice and fresh!Stopped with the intention to find a sandwich, and had so many more options. Wish I’d taken a photo of the cabinet.Settled on a grilled pork BMT (Banh Mi T) and it was huge, fresh, loaded with meat and salad and bread fresh and crusty ends. The chicken and salad and ham and salad rolls were $8, but so huge I knew I wouldn’t be able to finish one.Staff friendly, place seemed clean, other baked goods and treats looked appealing too.Very happy.
