Very nice people at reception, clean and quite at night. Will definitely be back next time.

CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL!! The staff have a habit of putting in the wrong date and then not checking to see if you still show. We booked multiple rooms and they will not refund because they sent a confirmation email. Disgusting manager.Unless you want to be given a bed time by midnight otherwise you will be kicked out because the manager won't even let you have a conversation with your family on the way back through the car park then I'd go somewhere else. The manager is on a power trip, he is rude and my family will certainly not be coming back again. This place needs to fire their manager.

Comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay overnight! Close to the rsl for meals and big warehouse shopping if you like. Not exactly walking distance to Gosford town centre but with a car, that’s not far at all! Front desk staff was helpful!

Rude staff. Rooms small and basic with a dreary feel to them. None of the windows opened so could not get fresh air during the day. Very noisy as right on the highway and between a KFC drive thru and shops on the other side. Found mosquitos in the guest washing machine when used it.

Booking our 2 rooms, knowing it was budget, all I was wanting was a place to BBQ and kids can have a swim. Very disappointed to find an empty pool on arrival. I should of been emailed about this, I would of booked somewhere else. We were told to walk across the main road and use their other motels pool behind an rsl.Recreational room looked great on website, but pool table missing balls, no tips on the pool cues, then was told I needed to pay a $20 bond to be able to use the table tennis, I said I had no cash and could pay it on card, to which the receptionist reluctantly told me to just take the bat and balls. Whole place was very ordinary. Their website is very misleading

The disappointing fact is that we had items to the approximate value of $300 stolen from both of our rooms (138 & 139). We had Christmas styled envelope containing a $50 note together with another envelope containing a $100 Wish Gift Card stolen from room 138 and 3 packets of 25's Chesterfield Cool Pop Gold cigarettes stolen from a black backpack in room 139.  Our stay was OK until we noticed the items were missing early on our checkout day of Tue 27 Dec 22.  As it was early and we had a very long drive ahead of us, we decided to wait until we arrived home in Cairns before reporting the matter to the motel.  We phoned the Ashwood motel on Sat 31 Dec 22 and spoke with receptionist Sereshteh who advised us to email the manager Jacquie and also cc in the duty managers.  We sent a detailed complaint email to the motel on Sat 31 Dec 22 but haven't heard a single word in acknowledgement since.  We even left a follow up phone message with the motel on Mon 16 Jan 23 asking the manager to call us but haven't received a response since.  We would expect much better from an RSL owned establishment and due to the lack of acknowledgement or response from the motel we may now have no choice but to consider lodging a formal report with NSW Police.

Very convenient location. Friendly staff. Check in/out was quick. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Had a slight sewage smell from the shower drain in the bathroom.

Absolutely terrible service, my son stayed here the night before his wedding, he has disabilities and unfortunately while shaving he accidentally got blood on two of the towels after cutting himself. The hotel manager had no sympathy at all and charged him $50 for this.The hotel is clean, it is just the hotel manger that had to ruin my son’s stay.Don’t stay here, go somewhere where the staff are more pleasant!
